The Sims 3 game is pretty good, but I am having glitch issues. I am hoping that it is just a bad copy because there are some drastic problems with the copy that we have. I like the amount of interaction you have with the other Sim characters, but there were too many of them dying for no reason. You put a lot of time into making a friend or a relationship and then with no warning they are gone on the game. It was happening within just a few hours of starting a new game. The glitch issues were items in my house that were supposed to be able to be interacted with (i.e. fridge, stove, shower, garbage can etc.) would stop allowing you to use them, even replacing them would not fix the problem, the new one would just glitch too. I am going to get a new game and hopefully this doesn't happen again.
One complaint that I do have, there is not a clothing store at the point that I had to stop playing and the clothes you start with are all you get, you can't get new ones. So, make sure you go through EVERY category when making your Sim to get different things to wear that you choose. There is everyday, athletic, sleepwear, formal, and swimwear. You can go through and pick all the items you want and then you can put just those things on. One option per category. I would have prefered more clothes to purchase. Maybe it will open something like that later in the game, but I am not sure at this point...there isn't a clothing shop available, just grocery and books. Hope this helped!

If you are a Sims computer version fan, you will not like this version. At $50 (which is what I paid, when it was first released) I was VERY disappointed. If you don't have or haven't played it on PC/MAC then you may be okay with this game.

This game was purchased for my 11 year old daughter by request as one of her birthday presents. Unfortunately, no store had it in the surrounding area, so I had no choice but to order it online. She plays this game quite often and loves it.

I just got this game today, and I was so excited, since I love The Sims. It was a HUGE let down. I can't believe the company released this with as many glitches as there are. There are so many glitches in this game, it's not even funny. I love the game's plot in general, but there's so many glitches that it wasn't worth the buy. I am constantly having to save and the load back up the game to try to get it to work normally agin. Like right now for example, my character won't eat no matter how much I save and then quit and then load back up the game. I'm very aggrevated about this, and very mad that I paid 30 dollars for this. DON'T BUY THIS GAME, WHATEVER YOU DO. Not worth the time or money.

It's not a very good game for the "WII"; it's slow and laggy. "SIMS" games are all very good just, on the computer. Don't get it for the WII.

The game is slow and sometimes your sims get "stuck", where they won't move . Also, some actions would pause the game and the actions would never occur. If I didn't love The SIms I wouldn't buy this game.

Me and my friend would call each other talking about how bad we wanted the game. Then we both went out and got it. (waste of money!!). Well it worked fine for me for a few nights until i wanted to save the game it did this to both of us. (me and my friend). It wouldnt let us save it would freeze the wii and the game up trying so save as you got so far into the game. One day we both bought the house boat. Thats on the ocean and her people would stare down at the ground only in the kitchen nowhere else and nothing would be there.One day she found her girl walking through a fence and getting stuck. You cannot make hot dogs in this game without them getting stuck on the kitching table. I would try and get my girl to "try for baby" and even if they refused to she would still get pregnant unexpectedly?? makes no since. This is not as good as any of ithe other sims games nor do you have near as many features you cant raise a baby? but one of the houses comes with a crib you cant do anything on this one. I would tell anyone talking about this game to not waste there money and time on this game. I will recommend pc and xbox i play the xbox one all the time its wonderful! but my wii one is collecting dust cause it will not be played ever again! Thank you!

Why is everyone saying that this is a bad game system? This worked great for me, I have had so much fun playing this game. I am a big sims fan! This game is so much fun. I play it everyday! Some people say that they have troubles, and they walk threw walls! Well I have had so much fun, and have never walked threw walls! I have a blast with that game!

I love Sims games so much, but this game is terrible. This company should not have released this game yet. So many glitches, it's not funny. I am constantly having to save my game, exit, and then log back on to see if I can try to fix the glitches coming up. Like right now, I can't get my Sim to eat no matter how much I log back in, and it's driving me insane! I love the game plot itself. I love how you get to choose your own job and everything. However, like I said, the glitches are so terrible that I don't even really like to play the game too much anymore.

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THAT U DONT GET THIS!!! I have never had sims 3 be4 and when I heard that they had it 4 the wii i went out and bought it. I was EXTREMLY disapointed with this game, i think they rushed while making this game. It pauses constantly, and when i got my sim pregnant i didnt know what gender it would be, so when the name chart popped up the name in it was chris so i thought it would be a boy so i left it as that and it came out to b a girl, and it WAS NOT a baby IT WAS SCHOOL AGE!!!!!! Then i heard that they sell it for the ps2 and i want to get that one. DONT GET THIS GAME!!!

I don't understand why this game is getting such negative reviews. Maybe I just got lucky or something. Maybe some people are just too impatient. Mine works fine and it's definitely one of the best games out there right now. I LOVE it. Very addicting.

This is the stupid game ever!!!!! DO NOT get this it does not work all that great!! There are soooooo many glitches in it. If you want to play the Sims 3, get it on Xbox, or PC. DO NOT GET IT FOR WII!! You will be extremely disappointed!!!! WAST OF MONEY!!!!!!!!

I play sims 3 on PC and LOVE it.. im addicted, so when I heard about sims 3 coming out for Wii I couldnt wait, I pre-ordered it and couldnt even pick it up on the release date because EA pushed the date back and didnt tell anyone so it took me 2+ weeks to actually get the game. When I finally played I was so disappointed it was terrible, I couldnt believe how horrible it was. I had two white adults who got pregnant and when the baby was born it said Chris so I assumed it was a boy, there was nothing telling me what the gender was, so I named it Austin and when I saw the baby it was a child, not a baby, and it was a girl not a boy, and she was black with blonde hair, mind you my people are both white one with red hair and the other brown, I was so confused and was so upset. My people kept getting stuck because they were walking through things, I couldnt make a list of tasks I wanted my person to complete and I have to be standing directly infront of the thing I want to click on. All in all this game was the worst, I would so much rather play on PC its way better!! I did however call EA GAMES and they had me send the game to them and they sent me back an unopen copy to bring back to the store and get my money back, they were really helpful and good to me!! I dont recomend this game to anyone especially those who are extreme simmers, stick with PC its 100x better!!

I was sooo excited to get this game. Put it into my Wii and have had problems ever since. There is hardly any sounds when your sims do anything at all. When pregnant, you dont even know what you had until after naming your child. Sims get stuck in chairs and walk through walls. You cant add any more household items even after buying the biggest house. It is frustrating to get a game that has been hyped up for so long and then get a bad game. EA is no help either. They have told everyone that it is their Wiis messing up and not the game. DO NOT BUY THIS. Its a waste of money. Just stick with the PC version and youll be ok.

Avoid this game for Wii. I wish I would have read other reviews before buying. The game has so many glitches it is unplayable. Very disappointed. Shame on you EA and Nintendo for releasing this version for the holiday sales.

Got the game, rushed home and turned it on! Disappointed at the very beginning creating a sim. Graphics are terrible, being a new game and all I figured they would be awesome. Game play is awful and the controls are just confusing. I turned it off before I even played 10 minutes. Don't waste your money on it. If you are a fan of Sims, just buy Sims 3 on PC, it's so awesome on that (and controls are so much simpler).
