Pull out square box beside the reset button! Enjoy

If it count to 5 and say that it found the key, Jojo is in "demo mode" OR "store mode"... There is a small square box beside the reset button, you have to pull that out (remove it). There is a long stick connected with it. Then it will come out of demo mode. It worked for mine and hopefully will work for us as well! Good luck!
It is very good toy, my daughter loves it.

I bought this for my 4 year old at Christmas. After reading the instructions, checking all the batteries etc. my 4 year old hid in a very obvious open space holding the carrot and the rabbit never found her. This happened over and over again. Now this rather expensive toy is collecting dust in the toy bin. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time or money on this product. All it did for us was disappoint our daughter.

My mother bought this (from my advise) for my 2 girls for Christmas. We were all very disappointed with it. It cannot find you if you are more than 8 feet away and if there are obstacles it can't find you either. It says you can hide behind things but my daughter tired and it never found her. There were even times when he was really close to her but still could not find her. My kids quickly grew disinterested in this toy. It has not been played with since Christmas :(

My daughter who was too old for product asked for it for Christmas from Santa...Santa brought it because mom said she wouldn't buy it. Just like the other reviewers said, it won't find the carrot. It claims that Jo-Jo will go around objects...it tried to go through them and then would just spin its wheels. I had to keep turning the rabbit to try to find my daughter. She still kind of liked it, but I hate the thing and want to take it back. I don't think she is going to let me. Wish we had more reviews before I let Santa bring it! I would not buy unless they make a ton of improvements to the design

I was skeptical, at first, about this toy, since I had only seen it in commercials; each time my son would see it, he would be mesmerized. I bought it, taking a chance, and it has became his favorite toy of all time. He never plays with a toy consistently, but Jojo has been played with every single day, since Christmas. In fact, my son even sleeps with Jojo. In addition, Jojo is one tough little bunny! He has been dropped on his head a countless number of times and is carried around by his long ears almost everywhere, yet he's still going! I will admit that Jojo doesn't "find" his carrot as well as I thought he would, but my son doesn't even care about that; he simply enjoys watching and listening to Jojo; in fact, he has picked up several new words and phrases from his little blue friend.

Very disappointed

I had read in a few parent magazines that this was the gift to get your child for Christmas. Of course, I ran out and got one for our 2 year old son. We have been fighting to get this rabbit to work since then. Last night we changed the batteries, again, just to be sure they were perfectly new. We then took the carrot and stood about 5 feet from the rabbit. It went the opposite directions, ran into every object in the room, told us to clap b/c it couldn't find me, so I moved right in front of it. It continued to NOT find the carrot even after laying it directly in front of it. What a total waste of $40 and worst yet, a loss of a present for my son!!!

I purchased this product for my child because she simply loves the other JoJo items. JoJo's bumper car is her favorite toy. However they really missed the mark on this one. The bunny can't locate the carrot even in plain view. I even tried standing in front of the rabbit it still went a different direction. I had no choice but to return it. Remember to take your batteries out of the unit before returning it. I forgot.

My kids got this and Max the dog for Christmas and neither one has ever found the carrot or bone. The lights on the bone and carrot are lit up so I know they are working. JoJo will walk up to a wall and say "I found you". These are a waste of money!!!

This was all my 3 year old was asking for this Christmas. Against our better judgement, we bought it. It doesn't work. It's cute, but couldn't find its way out of a paper bag. We hold the carrot pointing out so JoJo can find it easier, to the point where we are no longer "hiding", and he still doesn't find us. I think the few times he has found us it was a fluke. My daughter is definitely disappointed, but won't let us take him back. He's a beloved $40 stuffed animal that isn't soft and cuddly. We have hardwoods and tile floor, and he moves very well. We took him to grandma's, with low pile carpet, and he got stuck. It's a great idea, but needs vast improvement.

JoJo really does not work well.
The one I purchased for my two year old, he celebrates finding his carrot (spinning around and around) when the carrot is in another room and off. No he isn't very good at playing hide and seek. But my daughter loves it when he counts and lower his ears. She counts right along. So never the less he is a bit educational. And my daughter has found other uses for Jojo such as cleaning his face and big eyes with her wipes, putting him in her traveling case, being a student in her pretend class room. He make a good sleeping buddy. And I have to admit the most surprising recent use for JoJo I encountered this morning was my daughter feeding JoJo her unwanted cereal and blaming JoJo for the mess. If she likes him - I like him- I can't take the toy back now even if wanted to (shes to attached)- but for all those who can please do and those who haven't don't purchase. JoJo doesn't play Hide & Seek

I thought this was going to be a big hit. The product does not work at all. The rabbit NEVER finds the carrot. We put the carrot on the floor in plain sight and it couldn't find it. What a disappointment. Do not waste your money!!

Not only could it not find my daughter and I -- even with all the clues it asked for -- it scared my normally brave 3 1/2 year old, who after about 5 minutes, ran into her room with the carrot, slammed the door, and hid under her blanket. Enough said? Almost seventy dollars down the drain. I should have read the reviews first!!! LOL

Do not purchase this for your child no matter how much they ask for it. It's the worst $40 I ever spent. JoJo can never find my daughter. Even when you are playing in an open room within 5 feet away. He always runs into a wall, he can be right in front of the carrot and still turns around and says "I'm getting further away". I wish I could get my money back, but my daughter refuses to bring him back, but I can tell she's disappointed that he doesn't work the way she hoped he would.

This is very cute, but it doesn't seem to find the carrot very well. My older children actually move the bunny towards the carrot so it can find my 1 year old and the carrot. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I purchased this toy for my son for Xmas. He hasn't played with it much which could be due to the abundance of other toys. I did try it out though. The toy seems fun, you can only go about 9ft. away for it to work properly. Also, the instructions recommend you hold the carrot in an upright position and don't move it around too much, which seems impossible to ask a 3 yr old to do.
My sons lack of interest in the toy is the reason for the low rating. If he was as interested in Jojo at home as he was about it on the television it would have gotten higher ratings with me.
My 7 yr. old nephew tried it out also and told me the bunny needed to much help to find him for the game to be fun. Overall, I guess it depends on the child.

It is a cute product but it can't find its carrot or whatsoever. It just makes noise and spins a little bit. Gotta buy it because it was on the Santa's list. Had to explain to the kids that the elves forgot to put brain in the toy.

My four year old son received this as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, I did not keep the packaging or this piece of junk would be going straight back to Walmart. We have tried everything, new batteries, reset button, but we cannot get Jojo to even move. He counts to five, then says "I found the carrot and you! Let's celebrate! See you next time". I could not find any troubleshooting info in the instructions. We have hard wood floors, but he still does not even attempt to move. Huge disappointment, don't waste your money!
