This KNEX building set comes with over 300 parts including rods and connectors to build a KNEX thrill ride that stands over one and a half feet tall. This coaster is appropriate for kids above the age of seven years. Such a kids building toy not only provides your kid with lots of fun and excitement, but also teaches them the basics of engineering. This game is battery operated and requires two "AA" batteries (to be purchased separately).

Although this was an extremely cool toy. My 7 year old ended up watching us (parents) put it together. Too complicated for age listed! Loves it now that it's together but we will not be taking it apart . . . .ever! :)

I was surprised that the box was so small and wondered if it would be OK. Grandson put it together and had it working in just a few minutes. Played with it for hours.
