the dial for the heat settings is right where your hand goes so i kept changing the setting. taped it down and it works fine. works good on curly hair that you want to tame a little bit. deff better then straightening your hair every day.

I bought this for my niece, a 3rd year cosmetology student. What a beautiful new look she had with her hair from using the waver. It will be a wonderful asset in her new role as a beautitian. The waver was top quality, came with instructions and was easy for her to use. We ordered the waver in time for Prom as she'll be doing hair do's for her girlfriends. I would like to thank Walmart for the speed of delivery, carefully wrapping the item for shipping, and the ease of ordering online.

im very dissatisfied with this product. I bought this, and i was very pleased to get it within a few days of ordering it, but then the day I got it, i used it and it broke within 10 minutes of using it for the first time!!! do NOT BUY this product. i would not recommend it, unless you want to waste 25 dollars.

I use this product on my daughter who's hair is very long, and does not hold a curl very well. The curl stays in her hair until I wash it the next day. The product is a little heavy, but once use to the weight not a problem.

I just purchased this and I have long hair that normally curls with no problem. It was easy to use,but there are a few things I think would be helpful to know. First off, it makes your wrist really tired from clamping it down on your hair and if you go over a section twice it actually takes the wave out! I think it is just a learning curve and I really enjoy what it does. I will try a curling product next time too, I think that may help. The result is very similar to what braiding your hair does.

I had been wanting a waver and i picked this one up at the local walmart its very affordable and heard good things about it. I do like this product it does what its suppose does heat up very fast, when they say 30 seconds they arnt messing around! I like that it does stay hot and i love that it has heat settings u can have it up to 30 heat settings which is good! it says on the box its has mineral conditioning crystals for silky hair and eliminates fizz...cant tell on that yet but seems fine but im not sure any styling product can protect u from frizz! overalll it does what its suppose to i do like it however, it does seem to crease, the way the bottom plate is made seems to crease it a bit, thats the only downfall on this but it blends with the wave and u cant tell. This bad boy is huge! its jumbo size so i dont recommend for people with short hair they have a smaller one for shorter hair and it will make tighter waves, this one makes long beachy waves best for long hair. i also like that its big enough to fit bigger sections of hair for a quick style! if ur looking for an affordable deep waver id go with this!

I have had this crimper for almost a year and I am glad to say it has never failed me. I use it almost everyday and it takes me 10 minutes to do my hair with this crimper and it lasts all day! No hairspray or anything. I HIGHLY recommend this crimper

The first time I used it was today, and I must say I'm impressed! It was a little difficult to maneuver because of the weight but, it was also easy because you just simply put you hair in it and close, I mean DUH! I'm sure with practice I'll get better. I got nice waves, but it did dry my hair out a little. My hair is damaged from blonde highlighting, so I used just a little Keratin smoother, and it softened the waves. I have tried every curler and they NEVER work, so I am VERY happy with these results.

I bought this on Monday, used it for the first time on Wednesday, it broke on Wednesday...
I loved the way it made my hair look but while I was "retouching" some areas the handle snapped completely off while I was using it! Thankfully I was able to return it!

This tool is very easy to store, plus with the lock on the handle it makes it even better cause it stays closed. The curl it gives is very beautiful beach like waves, perfect for morning when I'm running behind because it heats up in 30 secs! I have very thick hair and I used the recommended heat setting for the thick hair and it worked first time just held it on for a few seconds and sprayed with hairspray, lasted all day. Couldn't be happier with the results!

We got a Dud unit, got it for my daughter for a Valentine's Day gift, turned it on level 15, no heat at all. Unplugged it, turned it to 30, it heated up but it didn't get as hot as it should have being that it was on the highest level. Went to try to use it the next day before school, no heat what so ever. Such a disappointment :( Will get a waver with the barrels but a brand other than Revlon.

I bought this because I thought it looked really interesting and walmart.com had the best deal on it I could find. I love it! I have alot of hair and it only took me a small amount of time (maybe 15 min) to style it with this because the unit waves so much hair at once. I had it delivered to my workplace and it came right before my lunchbreak so I decided to try it out right then. My coworker was so impressed that we did hers also and she also ordered one. We didnt use any product in our hair before using the waver and the waves held very well. It takes a couple times to get used to using it, the hardest part for me is lining my hair up right when I get to the bottom. Very simple, easy to use. Yes, its a bit bulky but as I said, it waves large portions of hair at once so its perfect. Gave my stick straight hair a completely different look, so glad I got it!

I'm sure it works well enough IF you have hands as big as a giant. I couldn't manage the open and close at all. And the barrels are HUGE!!! And last but not least, It stays open YOU have to keep it closed. Again not easy if your hands are small.

So I absolutly love the beachy waves but I live near chicago and there are no beaches near me so I never get those awesome waves besides when I go on vacation. When I tried this product it was really cool! It styled my hair super easily and quickly. It heats up in 30 seconds! I like to make my waves more tossled and care-free so I always wave different sized sections and wave it at different angles. Always wear a heat protectant when you use this product so you don't dammage your hair!

I used this on my thick, slightly wavy hair and it made a slight wave, which only stayed for about 20 minutes, and completely schorched my hair. Would not recommend.
