Shaver Missing Trimmer - Dont Buy

The picture doesn't show both sides of the shaver.
You cannot see that the the trimmer is not present. This is not the same High standard that you would expect from a Norelco.
Besides the missing trimmer, the shaver works fine.

I am very disappointed by this razer. I have owned Norelcos for almost 40 years and this one disappoints. I have owned for three months and already needs new cutters. If an inexpensive razer is what is needed then Remington is a better product.

I have been using a Norelco Shaver for years and I am very dissappointed that this razor does not have a pop-up trimmer. I've never seen one that didn't have a trimmer.

If you do not want a battery operated shaver this shaver that plugs into an electrical outlet to operate is for you. I don't want to put a charger on the counter. I have been using then for a long time. The newest version (Model 6900) has eliminated the side-burn trimming pop-up so you will have to trim them using something else.

This is a great electric razor. Inexpensive, easy to use, nice close shave.
Low maintenance. On the negative side, it doesn't have a sideburn trimmer.
Since my old Norelco razor has one, I just use it to trim my sideburns when
they need it. Works for me.

The quietest shaver I've ever had. Close, painless cutting, and nicely balanced in the hand. Though it was my own fault for not reading the description better, I do wish it had a trimmer. Alas! Still, a solid and attractive product.

I already own a Norelco 6900 and was impressed with the smooth shave it gave me when it was new. After 2 years, I felt its performance had deteriorated and new cutters would improve it. The price of replacement cutters was only slightly less than the cost of a new shaver so I opted for a new 6900. The cutters performed worse than my old model so i went back to using it.

This Phillips shaves closer then my old Norelco, almost as close as a blade. Excellent value, as the shaver costs about the same as (a no longer available ) replacement head for my old Norelco, a substantially heavier and better build model with a build in clipper (that I never used).
The 6900 is a basic, low cost, corded shaver that gives an excellent shave. If this is what you should be looking for, highly recommended.
