I would recommend these to a friend as long as I gave them this warning to go with it. We bought these, had them for only about 3 days and only used them a couple of times and the rubber started to flap at the top of the paddles. I think it is easy enough to fix with some super glue but it is still aggravating that they are brand new and already pulling away from the wood. They were the cheapest paddles I could find but still expected them to hold up a little better than this. I should not have to be doing a repair already. They still work even with the flapping but better have your super glue on hand if you buy these.
