The Stiga Apex Racket is excellent for players who are looking to take their game to the next level. Complete with a regulation inverted surface made from Stiga "Drive" rubber (with premium ACS technology approved by the ITTF), and a concave Italian composite handle, the Stiga Apex Racket is an excellent paddle to buy for active play at the highest levels. This table tennis paddle consists of a 2.0 mm sponge and a 5-ply extra-light blade.

I'm fairly realistic, with this racket I didn't have any wild fantasies that this would be some diamond in the rough. Don't get me wrong, it performs stunningly. It does what is does exceptionally well, and for the price I am still amazed. The rubber was fantastic for the price, great control, excellent spin and modest speed. My style of play is a lot of spin and defense. We were made for each other! I got it mainly to provide better performance over those cheapies you get in the four packs. And boy does it ever!
With simple maintenance and keeping it clean, I have had a dependable and well performing racket for several months. I purchased this mainly to provide an edge against my co-workers. It has proved its worth. This baby took me into the final four in a very, extremely competitive work tourny.
If you need an edge, but don't want to spend last months rent, get it you won't be disappointed. Unless your friend uses a Titan, or a DHS X6002, then I'm sorry you're on your own.
