I have had this product for less than a year, and it has just went out for the second time. You can't return it to the store--you have to ship it to Michigan. The picture quality is fabulous, it just goes out on you. The tv won't turn back on once it goes out. They did not send me a new tv, they sent the same one back. The picture is great, though.

This product is garbage. DO NOT BUY. Picture cuts in and out. TV must "warm up" before it displays the cable image, which can take up to 30 minutes. What a joke.

Well, there is a reason Walmart promises value. For <$400 I ordered this site to store with free shipping. I have been using it for almost 3 months and it's been great. However, I need to check the tv when I get home because I've had flickering and black screens when playing xbox. I'm going to check my Xbox when I get home. I've already switched the cord and it's doing it again. Next is a different connection (HDMI as opposed to Component which I currently use). My Xbox is newer than the tv so if it's the tv I'll return it and buy a different brand. I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying this. It's been very good and a good deal.

Unless you're a picture snob, super rich or looking for a ton of extra features built in to your TV, you should seriously consider buying an Element. The picture quality is great, all the inputs work fine and its a good looking TV. My cable provider only has 1080i, so I'm disappointed that I don't get my favorite shows and games at full quality, but Blu-Ray movies look incredible on this TV. And, c'mon... you cannot beat the price!

Inferior Brand Quality Will Cost You More In Long

I got this new and the HDMI ports didnt work. Took Element 2.5 monthsd to send someone out with part. Part replaced and problem is still not fixed. Now they want me to pay shipping of about $60 on a 400 tv back to element in order to get a replacement tv.
Still dealing with customer support and it's been over 3 months. Tv is worthless without HDMI for 1080p.
Do yourself a favor and stick with a different brand, Element has issues.

I had been looking for a decently priced HDTV for quite some time. This is as good as it gets. My roommate has the same specs on a Samsung HDTV and they look virtually identical. The samsung just has a few more features but I never use those anyway, and his cost $400 more. The sound is fairly loud on most programs and games, but buying a pair of computer speakers, a sound bar, or any theatre system will take care of this problem immediately, its what I did and now I can listen in comfort and without keeping all the other guys in the dorm up. I would recommend this for use anywhere from watching the news, to Hi-Def gaming, to the most action packed Blu-ray. Overall a great buy and as soon as it becomes available I suggest to snag it up as fast as you can, wont last long.

Overall satisfied with this TV. The only thing I really don't like about it is the sound level. You can have it on Vol #1 and it's still loud. For the price though, I'll learn to deal with it.

I bought this television on-line from Walmart but was a bit skeptical but did it anyways after reading the reviews. Boo to the few bad reviews I saw because this television is crystal clear and I amazed at the picture. My son had bought a sony bravia 32" last year and he is bumming because he paid more then I did and he likes the picture on my tv much better. Being he is a gamer and loves graphics that says it all by itself. I LOVE THIS TV!!!!

I'm not a tech guru, so I am not reviewing the specs or elaborate workings of this television. But, I CAN say that I love the TV, and here's why: It was inexpensive (I won't say cheap), it's really nice looking, lightweight for wall-mounting (but stand is very solid), sound is absolutely loud enough, color is fantastic, picture is crisp, lots of options and plug-ins on the back...and, can I say 'inexpensive' too many times? We have a higher-up 42" name brand and I honestly like this one better. I have it hooked up to a computer as a monitor for streaming Netflix and playing DVD's (as well as pairing with my cable input) and it was very easy to do with beautiful picture.
As a quick mention, I mounted it on the Ematic Universal Wall Mount Kit, which I will review separately, and for $28 including a HD cable, what a GREAT deal!

Was a little worried when my husband decided to order the tv but it has been great. It has alot of options and I like that it swivels. We are very satisfied. We used site to store and it came in after about 4 days so that was awesome. Very good deal on a very good product.

The sound is loud at the lowest setting (volume 1) and no adjustment seemed to make it reasonable. The video is choppy - almost as if the 120Hz makes the video stagger (processor can't keep up). I am returning the TV as soon as the new one I ordered arrives at the store.
