Take your child's temperature easier and faster than with a standard oral digital thermometer with the Veridian Health Premium Digital Ear Thermometer. This Electronic Ear Thermometer features a color-changing illuminated display that will easily identify the results: green is normal, yellow indicates a slightly elevated temperature and red means high. In addition to the color-coded display, the temperature read-out appears on a large, easy-to-read LCD display. The Veridian Thermometer will deliver a clinically accurate tympanic reading in only one second. It features both Celsius and Fahrenheit degree measurements as well as a 10-memory recall. The Electronic Ear Thermometer has an automatic shut-off feature in order to help with battery usage. The Veridian Health Premium Digital Ear Thermometer includes a thermometer, hard plastic storage case, long-lasting lithium battery, detailed English/Spanish instructions and quick start guide.

Very unreliable. Please do not spend money on this product. Spend a little bit more and buy a better digital ear thermometer or by a regular mouth/underarm read out!!!

It seems to be very accurate. I compared it to a regular mercury type and it reads exactly the same, but so much faster. Now, apparently you have to measure once to clear the previous reading, then measure again. I may not be doing it right.
