Make ironing simple with the T-Fal Prima Nonstick Iron, Blue. The Easy Glide Iron smoothly moves over all kinds of cloth materials providing adequate heat. This steam iron has a non-stick soleplate and an anti-slip and stable heel to avoid tipping. The comfortable and ergonomic handle provides a fine grip while ironing. You wont face the problem of dripping water from this anti drip iron even when the water in the iron is not ready to steam. The steam iron comes with a 10 ounce water storage tank that provides steam to remove wrinkles easily from clothes, thus providing easy and quick ironing. In addition, the vertical steaming option makes ironing drapes and hanging clothes very easy. This easy glide iron comes with a self-cleaning system and a cord wrap to avoid wire tangling. When the set temperature is reached, the indicator light turns off and for added safety, this iron comes with 3-way shut off option.

This iron is heavy and well-made. My old Proctor-Silex broke and started leaking after a year of use.
I like the 'extra steam' button. Copious amounts of steam come out of this thing, and the water reservoir is huge. The safety-turn-off timers do work, I tested them. Nice, sturdy base to rest it upright.
A great product, glad I waited for this to ship because the value justifies the wait.

Very bad Iron!!

I don't undersstand the good ratings this iron has received, I bought this iron based on them and I'm very disappointed. In a few weeks the teflon coating is scuffed, there are some stains on the soleplate that I don't know where they came from. I have always used distilled water on the iron, and have cleaned it as suggested, however this hasn't help to keep it in good working condition. No wonder the warranty is only one month!

This iron met all my expectations. I love the fact that where the cord goes into the iron, it swivels which makes itm easy to use. The fact that this iron is very narow at one point it is great for ironing buttons on my husbands dress shirts!

For the extra money this iron really gives extra bang for your buck. It steams well and the extra burst of steam button is exceptional. It gets wrinkles out of things that would seem hopelessly wrinkled and since it holds a lot of water, it doesn't run out quickly. It heats fast and the nonstick surface is wonderful. I haven't had it long enough to give durability a five star rating, but I am very very pleased with this purchase.

It steams, irons well & doesn't leak so I would purchase this iron again. It shuts off when it isn't moved for 8 minutes and the plate is big so it isn't a good iron for sewing; however, that's not a problem as the small $10 irons are better for sewing, but are lousy for clothes ironing.

I like this iron so far. It works well. The only complaint I have is that the water level is hard to see because the plastic is dark blue. That's certainly not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience. I would buy another one of these if I had to do it again.

At last, an iron that does not leak

It seems that lately, the irons we bought have had several features that have been defective. The most frustrating is a water tank that leaks over the handle as one irons. This iron seals the tank properly, so that the water does not leak.
The reason why the "Features" are good and not excellent, is that the iron is rather heavy and the handle is covered with a rubbery covering that is different to what I am used to, making the feel different.
All the other features are exactly what I am looking for in an iron.

I purchased this iron for my girl friend and had it shipped site-to-store where she lives in TX. She began using it a few days later, commenting on how well it did the ironing. She retired the old iron that I heard sputtering when we were talking on the phone. This iron has an awesome flat "heel" that makes for a very stable sitting base. I chose this iron because of the high reviews. She likes the iron well enough to refer to it as "our" iron.

This T-Fal iron heats up quickly. It has a nice spray feature for those extra tough wrinkles . The extra burst of steam feature is also very good. I did not have any problems with leaks or spitting as some people reported...I just made sure the iron was heated to the proper temp. The handle is easy to hold...not too big around the way my last iron was. The iron is also not too heavy.

This iron is fantastic. Although I had to order it online it was well worth waiting for. The iron steams really well and absolutely no dripping. From experience, those in the same price range always drip even though they claim to be anti-drip. I would highly recommend the T-Fal Prima Iron...awesome!!

I purchased this one after my 10-year old Black & Decker iron stopped generating steam. I did a lot of research and decided on this one. I was not disappointed. It's well built and the size is good. I like the auto shut off and the steam functions. I will wait to see how durable it is, as I have a pretty high bar.

A very nice looking iron. It is a good weight. I don't like a light iron, but this one isn't too heavy either. A couple issues with it though is that the water line is hard to see as the material is a cloudy color. It gives off a lot of steam, which is a good thing, but I have to fill the water reserve often while ironing. I also find I have to adjust the temperature often for the different materials or it drags a little. Overall it's a good iron for the price and a much better iron then I had before.

I needed a good iron for my kids school uniforms...and this is it! It doesn't drip and the steam burst is awesome! For the price, you can't beat this iron. I bought a more expensive iron from WalMart, but this iron is better than that one. Would definitely recommend!

We had previously bought the Panasonic anti-drip iron which worked great from the Wal-Mart website. The only problem was that it was easy to tip over and had fallen a few times causing the tip on both ends to brake. I decided to find another iron and by the reviews bought this one. This iron is great! The price is also very reasonable, cheaper than the Panasonic. We're very pleased with our purchase!
