The Hamilton Beach 72600 Food Chopper is a fresh chop food chopper with a variety of features which include two pulse speeds, a quick-lock lid, stainless steel blades and a hide-away cord wrap. The bowl, lid and a blades are dishwasher-safe. The large 3 cup capacity is an added advantage. You can even use these food choppers to puree baby food. The kitchen food chopper is powerful enough to take on nuts, onions, carrots and other hard vegetables. The best part of the Hamilton beach 72600 Food Chopper is the stainless steel blades which are easy to clean and wash. The quick lock lid is very useful as there is no waste of time in fixing the lid and the hideaway cord wrap makes storage easy and clutter free.

this is great product compared to Oster product which only was available in Walmart store. Oster product was returned. Did not work like this Hamliton beach 3cup product which worked super right out of box and continues to work perfectly.

Loving this Chopper! I use it several times every day. It actually chops the food tiny instead of just mushing it. Use it on veggies and all sorts of foods as my mom has swallowing issues. Cuts my time of preparation down to nothing and it is so easy to clean.

It chops vegetables and nuts from coarse texture to a very fine texture depending on the speed selected. I have not experienced any mechanical problems with this chopper. This chopper processes the food well if the food volume is not over 1 cup. If the volume is over 1 cup, I had to divide the food and perform a second batch processing in order to get the texture I needed. Both the chopper and the shipping package arrived without any damage from the shipping process.

OK, but unable to "drizzle" while chopping

I was preparing the Brown Derby Cobb Salad Dressing. I had to "drizzle" in 1 1/2 cups EVOO. The "well" is almost non existant - can only hold maybe 2 teaspoons before liquid goes through tiny hole into container. (there are 2 wells on the lid). I had a huge mess of oil all over the counter; and even though I tried to drizzel slowly using a spoon, the hole would clog/bubble up and oil once again poured all over the chopper and counter. Finally, I simply opened the lid, poured what I needed into the other ingredients, and pureed that way. Big disappointment.
I've had the chopped for 2 weeks. It has a shrill high pitched whirring sound when in use; and if you don't have everthing in total alignment, it stops working. I guess that's OK, but it takes more time to keep adjusting. I will keep using it, keeping in mind it's limitations.

I like the size of this food chopper. It's easy to clean. I have put stuff in it to chop and it seem to be pureeing the food rather than chop. Some pieces weren't getting down to the blades and would stay up top so I would have to stop and open the cover to move around the food to get it to the bottom to be chopped. Can't have to much in there or the food on top won't go down to be cut. I have only used it a couple of times so I am still working with it. Overall nice product.

I just purchased this Food chopper and have used it several times. I used it to chop vegetables and also almonds. This chopper have so much power for the size and the price I could not believe it. This was a gift for a two chef household, it turns out there is just not enough power to keep it going for months and months of constant use for things like nuts and seeds. I know it would do fine with occasional use in a house with someone who has a small kitchen and doen't require a large overly powered craft.

This food chopper was so easy to set up and use. It has a home on my counter top. It is the perfect size and chops very well. The surprising feature to me is that it is so easy to clean up.

i chop onions and vegatable with it daily and it works perfectly as i want . It makes awsome bread crubs and chops nuts perfectly.In total it servers all my needs.
One more thing today my 2 year old daughter droped it from counter top as she wanted to explore it but it did not crack at all after hitting tile floor so that means it is very strudy as well.
