The Hamilton Beach 35030 Deep Fryer is a deep fryer that helps you heat and cook large quantities of food all at once. Gone are the days where you individually had to fry each dish. With this electrical deep fryer, you can cook twelve plates of fries, twenty four plates of chicken wings and four plates of onion rings all at once. This digital timer deep fryer helps you heat up the dish in time with its adjustable temperature control. The Hamilton Beach 12-cup deep fryer comes with an illuminated digital clock timer that allows you to choose the cooking time. The fryer also sports a attached break way chord that ensures that the fryer does not accidently tip or spill over. Since cooking it is done in a direct oil immersion manner, heating of the food is ultra fast.

Now this may be a very good fryer but I'll never know. Absolutely NO directions included. All they have are a few pictures on the box and you're supposed to figure out what to do about assembly, cooking time etc.

Purchased one of these several years ago and was very pleased with how well it worked. When that unit failed, we decided to purchase two more because of how much we valued the one we had and would hate to not be able to replace it should it be discontinued or we may opt to give one as a gift.

We wanted a fryer to use now and then, but nothing too pricey or large, something mostly for just two people. And this is it! It's a good size for two people, even three, and at a very reasonable price. It disassembles easily which makes cleaning simple! I can't speak to "durability" as we only bought it a couple of weeks ago, but it's good so far. Definitely recommend.

My only beef with this deep fryer is that the lid is not attached to the oil pan in any way, it just covers it. Maybe it is done like that by design, but I would have preferred if the lid closed tightly. On the plus side, I like its capacity and safe features (magnetic power cord, timer).

lets get the bad out the way! first of all where ever u place the unit be carful bottom of fryer very hot and the space underneath get very warm to so if u got something that can be melted easy don't set it on there. #2 12 cups of oil it takes so learn how to filter the oil to save money ok so now for the good this deep fryer is 1500 watts of hot poping grease cooking machine its not a broiler or a steamer but a lean mean grease cooking machine it will cook what ever u wont very quick u don't have to spend along time cooking anything with this it is a large deep fryer that cooks large amounts of food for the price its just amazing for this large deep fryer

the overall performance was good, it heated up in about 10 minutes and maintined the temp during cooking. the only thing i did not like was the cord comes disconnected easy, but i understand this is a safety reason and i can live with that. for the price it is a very good buy, although some of the materials are a cheap, but for the price, it can't be beat.

Cons: Warm Up can take some time so don't expect to fry in a hurry. Cool down takes awhile. Built in timer useless.

arrived in a decent time straight out the box defect. the only thing that worked was the timer. i bought chicken and catfish. hard day at work and ready to come home and eat. my wife was quite delighted with the surprise package that could make her life easier. But we both were disappointed to find out the product did not work. no power light but the timer light was on and going for some strange reason. no power no heat no food for me. thanks for ruining my dinner Mart!

This deep fryer was bigger than I expected and it holds a lot of oil. My chicken came out nice and crispy. I love the look, it makes me feel like I'm a professional cook. I like having party's and I know this will be perfect for frying lots of food in a short amount of time. The only little flaw is sometimes the cord attachment in the back can pop out if you push it against a wall. Just move away and it stays in perfectly!

We are very happy that we purchased this deep fryer. It's temperature setting dial is accurate, it's capacity is large compared to other deep fryers made for home use and it has an attractive stainless steel appearance.
We've had our deep fryer for about a month now, we've heated the peanut oil four times, cooking about eight different foods total, straining the peanut oil after each use AND the peanut oil is ready for more uses thanks in part to the cover that comes with the unit.
Here's a list of the food that we've tried so far: chicken; cream cheese wontons; breaded fish; egg rolls; french fries (2 times); onion rings (2 times). I must say that all of the foods were a success.
Hopefully the deep fryer will last for a good long time. Hopefully we will not use it too often because even though the unit is very functional and easy to use, deep fried foods are not the healthiest thing on the planet for us humans to consume. But they sure do taste good and in moderation, that's a very wonderful thing!
