The Hamilton Beach 25325 Mealmaker Express Grill has 185 sq. in. of grilling space. It lets you grill food in two ways. Close the lid to grill the food on both the top and bottom sides or leave it open and use both sides to cook a larger portion. This indoor electric grill also helps you cook healthy for your loved ones. As the food is cooked, excess fat drips away into the drip tray providing a low-fat quick meal. The Hamilton Beach nonstick grill is fast too and does not take more than ten minutes to grill almost all meats. Provided with auto shutoff timer and removable dishwasher-safe drip tray and grids, this automatic grill is a great pick for quick grilled delicacies.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister, but it wasn't quite what she wanted so we returned it. She wanted something that had heat control settings. Personally all I can say is I like the idea of the removable grids for cleaning!

I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach indoor grill. It not only cooks the food well but leaves a nice appearance on the food as well. The grill opens up so it leaves double the cooking space and with the removable grids it cleans up very easily. I feel the food needs to cook a little longer than suggested but that is not a problem for me. I would recommend it.

Grill works great. Convenience of removing grill plates for cleaning is wonderful. The grill takes a little longer to cook than it states, however, and the grill is definitely hotter in the middle. Overall, it is a great grill and cleanup is a breeze.

I have used this grill once since I got it for Christmas. I like the way it cooked the burgers. It cleaned up wonderfully. What I didn't like about it was that it put off a strange smell. It might be the newness of the appliance. I don't know. But I could smell it in my house for 2 - 3 days. I have put off using it again because I have been dreading that smell. I will use it again soon though and I hope that smell doesn't happen again. Hopefully after it is used a few more times the smell will not happen any more. I gave it a good rating but I would not recommend it to friend.

This grill is amazing. Tonight I cooked pork chops and it took 5 minutes. Hambergers are amazing, chicken is divine, vegetables are great, ham and steak amazing. I can't wait to try more and more. It leaves no grease/fat and my husband loves it. When we finish the kitchen is cool and the clean-up is breeze.

I a grilled cheese on it, opened it up and used both side and they cooked my meat evenly.
I followed the directions and brushed it with olive oil which is what i cook with and it did not
smoke and cause the alarm to go off so i am grateful and it only took me 10 mins to make
a full meal. I recommend it instead of turning on my stove.

Since I purchased this grill, my wife and I we use it all the time and it works great! It is amazing how many different ways use can use this grill. It can be used for more than just cooking burgers, chicken or just grilling. I put an average mark for durability because we purchased this in mid-Jan 2013 and I cannot attest to the durability of the grill, although it seems well made.

Much easier to use than the George Foreman grill that we had previously. Very easy to clean, and the little drawer for collecting the drippings is much neater than the trays used with the Foreman. The timer is much more precise, and it takes up less space on my kitchen counter. Very pleased with this purchase.

Would definitely recommend this, just be aware of the size. All indoor grills should be required to have a timer that would turn them off after a specific amount of time, these kinds of grills become very hot and could become a fire hazard if accidentally left unattended . Good luck with your purchase.

The grill is not very efficient when opened up for the extra cooking surface. There is no ability to control the temperature of the grill. The timer on front is what turns the grill on; and to cook bacon I had to continually come back to the grill to reset the timer for longer cooking time. The grill's heating element cycles on and off every 5 minutes to maintain a temperature level of some temperature (I don't know what). The bacon took about a 1/2 hour to cook on flat top surface. You could tell when the element came on because the bacon would start to sizzle and then stop when it shut off. Better to cook with it shut than open.

This is an exceptional grill! I previously owned one of these that broke after using it almost every day for three years. I absolutely loved the first one, and when it quit working I started researching and looking at other indoor grills. This was before Christmas so there were lots of grills to look at in stores. I looked at all the George Forman and the Cuisinart Griddler 5-1 grill, and anything else that I could find in a store, and read reviews on Amazon, and other sites. This Hamilton Beach is still the best grill and the best value out there. If you lift up the other grills you can tell that they are very lightweight, and if you tap them they almost sound tinny and like they are made out of plastic. You lift this grill up, and you feel how solid and well made it is. Drip tray is in perfect location, and it actually works the way it is supposed to! There is a huge grilling area, and it grills up meats, chicken, veggies, bacon, you name it quickly and easily. I also like that when I use this grill that it doesn't heat up my entire kitchen, and I don't have to clean up the oven afterwards! Excellent product!! I am thinking of buying one more just to have it as a back up!
