This inexpensive vacuum works great, does the job, even on short carpeting. The only problem I found is that the hose and floor wand attachment is way to short for me, being almost 6 foot tall. I added a length of tubing from my old vacuum and it is great now. Nice machine for the price

I really like this vacuum except for one flaw. The floor brush is inadequate and seems to scrape the floor because there is so very little brush area I am now in the process of trying to find a floor attachment that fits this vacuum. So far no luck so if anyone out there can help please do. This is the reason for only a 3 star.

Powerful enough to do regular house cleaning! I am not happy with the way the canister is designed, every time you have to empty the container there is a gasket that comes out and it's hard-to put back, and to close the canister takes a while!! Beside this the rest is ok.

this is the best vacuum i ever bought. the only thing i dont like is that the chord is short but my husband bought me an extension chord and walla i can vacuum the whole house without unplugging. i love it.

When I first purchased this item, I loved it's suction and features. The cord rewinder wouldn't rewind after a few days, I never pulled it out all the way either. Then it lost major suction and I the filters are no longer available. So now I have a vacuum that I can't use and have to buy another.

I owned a Kirby vacuum cleaner for over 30 years, just replacing parts as they broke. When the wheel finally broke off, I decided I need a lightweight versatile cleaner. This cannister does the trick. I haven't owned it long, but I do love it already. It's so much easier to lug around the house. If one has to clean, this will do the trick!!!

Light, easy, quiet and does the job!!! It is sooo great to be back to a canister - not banging everything up w/my VERY loud upright. This little (weight-wise) machine picked up ALOT of what the upright didn`t. And, I won`t be deafening the neighbors (hard living in an apartment!). Love I can hear the door and phone over it. Love being able to get under the sofa and other areas I couldn`t w/the upright. So compact and don`t have to trip over and rewind the cord. So happy I purchased it and at a great price - Thank You, Walmart!!!

I've had Opticlean for about a year and I hate it. This cheaply made appliance, made of thin plastic, could break any minute, unless you are very careful. It has 4 filters, yes 4, and three of them require very frequent cleaning, indicated by a warning light. The filters are hard to locate and difficult to remove, clean and replace. Believe me, you'll be constantly referring to your manual. The filters collect an enormous amount of fine dust that needs to be brushed off and cleaned--a messy and time consuming job. One filter needs to be washed and allowed to dry before you can continue vacuuming.
My apartment is only 800 square feet and I vacuum once a week, yet I have to empty out the dirt cup generally after vacuuming twice, because the dirt cup is too small. No matter how carefully I empty the cup in a plastic bag, I get a lot of dust on my hands and floor. I wish I had opted out of buying Opticlean.

I am used to having upright vacuums but they just didn't do the job of picking up pet hair. I got this one for Christmas because I read the reviews and it seemed like the vacuum for the job. I just love it to death. Picks up all the pet hair and everthing else. Easy to empty the catching compartment and it pops back in easily. The wand stretches and then tucks back in for easy storage. The attachments are safely tucked away in a compartment on the vacuum so they don't fall off or get in the way. Anyone with pets should get a vacuum that is not upright but Canister. Minimal assembly, easy to put together and easy to stop as the wand attaches to the vacuum. I can't say enough about this vacuum. I am very happy with it.

Perfect size, light weight for stairs, but NO suction.....very little at all in fact, it would have been perfect for bare floors too..., also the hose is plastic, came crimped in the box... I had to reurn this item.

Nice, light-weight, generous length electric cord. Noise level is good. Appreciate the HEPA filter. Suction is okay but not outstanding. Very manouverable. Floor tool works okay but the suction hole is short and the suction is not powerful enough to take in everything along the width of the tool, so multiple passes are necessary; longer brushes for use on hard surfaces would be helpful. Dirt container is not very big so remember to empty it frequently. For me, living in a modest-sized apartment with my "roomie," Samuel T. Cat, it is great! (If I had W/W carpeting everywhere, I might not be quite as satisfied.) Being a canister instead of an upright, it is Wonderful for getting underneath things! Easy to store.
