The Bissell Sturdy Sweep 2402B solves your problem of maneuvering a broom around obstacles on the ground. This Bissell cordless sweeper consists of four small brushes on the corners of its foot, in addition to a primary brush. These brushes help in effectively capturing minuscule dirt and dust particles caught around legs of furniture. This was exactly what I needed for my area rugs in between major cleaning. I don't have to worry about recharging a battery or plugging it in. Easy to clean and works on hard surfaces as well.

I do not always want to bring out my vacuum cleaner to get a few crumbs off the floor. This sweeper works well for that. However, although it says it works well on all floors, I found that it works better on my carpeting than on my tile floors.

The product is great on carpet and makes it easy to clean up messes that my pet Chinchilla leaves around his cage. I have attempted using it on floor tile surfaces and it does not do too well, and there is no way to adjust the height of the brush for it. It is best used on carpeted areas.

This thing is tiny! 9 1/4" wide across the face x 8" front to back. The "five brush" system is one roller and four Hitler mustaches on the corners! I went with the Bissell because of the wrap around rubber bumper and if it had been a usable size I may not have taken it back!

Was tired of getting out the vacuum all the time so decided to give this a try!
Was easy to put together, they have improved the assembly and added screws to the handle
so there should be no trouble with it coming apart or getting loose like the old model.
It works great on my bedroom carpet as well as my hardwood floor. It is so easy and smooth.
Doesn't pull on my back like the vacuum! To empty you just hold over the waste basket and press on the bottom. A damp paper towel cleans off the dust that gathers on top!
For quick clean ups this is the perfect tool!
This is well worth the money and with the Wallmart Free Shipping Site to Store it is a bargain!

I was disappointed in the Bissell sweeper. It is just much smaller than the older bissells. It works pretty good though. Other than being so small it is okay.

Bought the Bissell Sturdy Sweep for my mom as a Mother's Day gift, something she wanted. She loved it. She was impressed how much cat hair it collected when she cleaned around the liter pan. I decided to purchase one for myself. Does not do as well on my bathroom rug because my long hair strands got tangled around the brush. Did work wonderful in my kitchen when I spilled a box of cereal.
I would recommend this product for most dry spills or a quick clean up when you do not want to pull out the vacuum.

I've used the old fashioned Hoky products and they work pretty well, but could never replace a decent vacuum. This one is a great replacement. I only have one rug and it's not worth spending a ton of cash on a vacuum for a rental. This works well to clean the rug and as a bare floor sweeper. I can run through my whole place in a few minutes.

I've been using these push brooms for years. This one has a narrower head and a longer handle than most. Also, the handle pieces screw together instead of snapping together, so they are not constantly coming apart. This design is better. Good for crumbs if you snack in front of the T.V.

I love my Bissell sweeper! It is the best $27 I ever spent! I have cats, and they track litter all over the floor (wood laminate and area rugs). Sweeping with a broom just didn't cut it, so I searched online for a manual carpet sweeper like my Mom had when I was a kid. This little sweeper is perfect, light weight, and easy to store. It picks up litter, dust bunnies, everything with no problem. The little brushes underneath at all four corners also pick up dust bunnies and cat hair. It is quite impressive, and I use it several times throughout the day. It's quick and easy, and even fun to use.
