I've had the Oster Wine Vacuum Cork for about a week. I've used it everyday after pouring a glass or two of wine. It pumps the air out of the bottle and acts as a cork.
I can't testify as to it's durability because I've only had it a week.
I used to keep my open bottles red wine in the refrigerator and heat it up a glass at a time. Now I don't have to bother. After 3 or 4 days the wine doesn't show an signs of spoilage.
I'm thinking about getting one for my son who doesn't put his red wine in the fridge and may not drink any of an open bottle for a week or more. There are a couple of thing.s that might seem strange about the Oster. One, the pump pumps for a minute regardless of how much air is in the bottle. Two, the temperature that appears after the pump stops pumping isn't the temperature of the wine, but is closer to the temperature of the room. This isn't important unless you do keep the wine in the refrigerator. It might be that the temperature sensor in mine isn't working right, but I don't care.
