I eagerly awaited this item because it was advertised as having powerful suction. What a lie! It barely has any suction at all. I patiently charged it and still almost no suction. Now I have to send it back and find something else that really works. What a waste of time.

I had one before and I dropped it and broke it. We got a puppy and I did not want to have to get my big shampoo upright out all the time so back I went to the small hand held. Am very happy with item. Just the right size for puppy accidents and grandkids spills. Keep at hands reach when they come, excellent for all quick clean ups.

The extraction suction is next to nothing. It's one step above spraying cleaner yourself, scrubbing yourself and letting air dry. Why spend money on uselessness.

Not what I need at all!

Bought this based on reviews and it did not meet my expectations at all. First off - it takes 12 hours to fully charge and run time is only about 10-15 mins at best. I ended up returning mine after 2 days and getting a different one. It did remove the stains i quickly attempted with this one (pet stains & makeup ground into the carpet from a teenager). The place for the water and cleaner does not hold much and you run through that faster than the battery. Also mine did not spray over the whole area - just two different directions. Also this has to be turned ON just to spray the solution.... maybe a seperate spray bottle would work better? Also very hard to remove the front part that holds the dirty water - always needed someone to hold it so i could use both hands to push in button and pull. I would NOT recommend this at all even for small messes unless you are willing to do it in shifts - every 12 hours!

This is a good carpet cleaner, provided it is fully charged. It has good suction then and can handle most messes. The brush on the front does not move on its own. If you have a heavy duty stain, you will need to manually scrub by pushing the vacuum back and forth. The scrubber does an ok job, nothing great. When mine came, it was not fully charged right out of the box. It performed just ok. When fully charged, the suction is very good. I don't like the fact that it takes 12 hours to charge. That is somewhat of a drawback. Also for maximum battery life, you're suppose to fully discharge it every 2 months. I can't see myself doing that. Overall, it's good, but not great.

I bought this product because I have a rabbit who is not potty trained yet, and it makes it so easy to clean up after her accidents. Not to mention cleaning up after my husband, toddler, two dogs and my other rabbit. The dirty water container is a little hard to take of and put on at first. but you just get use to it and get in the rhythm of taking it on and off. Make sure you charge it first before you run off and try to use it (like I did), because it doesn't come charged.
Overall this is a great machine and I would recommend it to all my friends.

It works well, however it only works for about 10 min, then has to be charged for 12 hours to get 10-15 min of work. I bought it for my couch my kids really did a number on and it took me 3 days to get to the whole thing.

I was looking around for an answer to the question that I had about my portable Spotlifter, but think I may have to buy another one, and I'm perfectly okay with that. I have used it practically non stop with three dogs in a two-bedroom apartment for the past year. It beats having to get out the regular carpet cleaner when one of them decides they can't wait for me to take them out. This is a good investment, wonderful product, and I will be a lifetime customer.

We have two small dogs (7 and 10 pounds) that occasionally like to urinate on the floor. We would spot clean, but we were renting one of those large carpet cleaners from Home Depot once every few months because we never felt like it was thorough enough. Now we have a new baby on the way and it's imperative that the carpets are spotless. We got this so we can make sure to clean the spots up immediately and all the way to the pad (which is impossible with a spot cleaner and rag).
We've had to use this twice in the two weeks we've had it and we had no trouble either time. You do have to let it fully charge before you can use it (about 12 hours), but since then it just sits in the corner, waiting to be used.
I wouldn't purchase this if I were expecting to do large areas, or if I needed to use it immediately. Also, some reviewers have said the suction is bad. We noticed that we need to go back over the spot multiple times in order to get it all up, but that's just another ten seconds or so - no big deal.
For what we need it to do, it's perfect.

Not worth the money useless

you would be better off buying a bottle of carpet cleaner, a scrub brush and some towels because you will get a better result than this machine will give you and your carpet wont be as wet. not worth the $46.00 online price purchased on 03/13/2013 my carpet is brand new 1/2 inch pile had a very light pet stain, it came clean but stayed very wet after many passes to suction it up, i ended up using a towel to soak up the wetness.

I bought this item in 2012. very hard to separate and finding out where u enter the water to spray the little plastic pipe was looked like it was upside down. Took it to repair shop Warranty was no good as it stated it was bought in 2010 No receipt so guess u could say I now Know how to tell just how old an item is by reading the #'s on the item

What a great little machine for cleaning small carpet areas, and hard to get at spots. I am surprized the power this little spotlifter has. Living in an RV with two small dogs, that occasionally have mishaps, this lttle machine has been a wonderful investment. Extremely easy to use.

I bought this because I have two new puppys that I am house training. I wasn't sure what to expect but it is awesome for those little messes. Now I don't have to drag out my big scrubber every 5 minutes. Small, handy and holds charge longer than expected. Only flaw is that when it is full you must hold scrubber horizontal or stuff will run out of suction part
