This scale was a replacement for a digital scale I owned by Homedics. I would weigh myself 3 times and get 3 different readings with THAT one! So I finally got fed up and bought this Taylor because of reviews I read here and also on Consumer Reports' recommendation.
This scale reads quickly and accurately every time, and I no longer have to weigh myself 3 times and choose the "best 2 out of 3", because they all read the same!
I wasn't sure about the glass, but it blends in nicely with the floor because it is see-through.

I bought this scale because of all of the amazing reviews on top of the great price. When I got the scale, I thought it looked great, but there's one problem I've discovered already.
Mine takes at least 3 or 4 times of standing on it before it will start to be consistent.
So when I first stand on it, it shows several pounds heavier than I actually weigh, then the second time it gets closer (sometimes even less than my actual weight) and then the third or fourth time it arrives to my actual weight and begins to be consistent with that weight each time I stand on it. It has done this every time I've weighed myself so far.
I don't really mind, but I thought I would review so people knew that something like this could happen in case it would bother them. I haven't owned this scale for very long, just a few days, so maybe it'll resolve itself. If it does, I will update this review to reflect that. Hopefully this was helpful to someone out there!

I pruchased this after reading some reviews. It is stylish and works as expected. I like the simple on/off functionality - just step on the scale, no tapping required. It poers off automatically too.

This scale seems to be very accurate with the doctors. This was the reason for the purchase..medical issues with my mother and she has to have accuracy with her weight. We are really liking these alot.

This scale looks very nice and it works. I don't know how many scales I have tried where I get on, it is one weight, I get off and back on, it is a different weight. This scale is true and no matter how many times you step on it in one time, it will display the same weight. The readout is large so no trying to figure it out like with a dial scale. Worth every penny.

I like the clear glass, it gives the scale a rich look. I think it's a bargain for the price. I also like that it weighs up to 400 lbs and it has a long life lithium battery.

The scale is accurate, there was no set-up involved and looks good. I would have given it a five rating but, because of the glass, is difficult to see if left out. I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me that a glass scale would be hard to see, but it didn't. I guess I thought the silver would be noticeable. On the whole, however, I do like the scale, it's sturdy and once again, it's accurate.

I opened the scale and removed the "tab" that keeps the battery fresh. The unit would only give an error code and never would give a weight for anyone in my house. (all of us are below the weight limit)

Scale is handsomely designed and is always prompt with measurements. Large numbers are easy to read, even in light that is not the best. Battery seems to be of the common variety, so it should be easy to replace. Like the warranty too. Would buy again.
