The Everlast 2'x6' folding mat can be a good addition to your home gym and provides you with a comfortable spot to do your floor exercises. This blue exercise mat from Everlast is thick and is quite durable. It has a foldable design so that you can fold it and store it conveniently when not in use. The workout mat also has sewn handles making it portable and convenient. So, you no longer will have trouble transporting the mat to and fro from your yoga class or gym. This Everlast exercise mat has a non-absorbent shell which enables you to clean it easily. The mat is also available in black.
I bought this mat for my granddaughter. She's always doing gymnastics. This mat was good enough for her. She said she loves it. Also good size for inside the house.

Review 4 for Everlast 2' x 6' Folding Exercise Mat
Bought this for a stretching exercise class. Great mat for these hard floors at the gym. But, mat is cumbersome to carry into the facility because it folds in half. Could manage it better if it folded into thirds. No problem with the handle (only used it twice) but it COULD be a problem in the future because the handles do not seem very strong/sturdy. I may be wrong about this and hope I am. Nice thick, long mat.

This is a great mat for the price but is smaller than I pictured. I needed for my sons to wrestle on and bought 2 but will end up ordering one or two more. It's a great size for exercise or tumbling on.

I previously purcheased a cheaper accordion type mat. It was so thin it hurt to lie on it, even on a rug. So I upgraded to this mat. It only folds once, as shown in the picture, but it is thicker and does the job much better.

Does what I need it to do. Supplies a nice cushion of support on my concrete basement floor. Some complained as to the thickness. I am 5'7 and 165 lbs and it's what I'd call perfect; extended and not folded in half. I think perhaps some who complained of the thickness and cushioning support maybe in the obese + category and they maybe squishing it too much with their bulk, in which case just fold it and you should be fine. I'd tell a friend to get one.

This mat is great! It has a handle for moving it around and it folds up for easy storage. It is thick and very comfortable. It seems to be made well. I haven't noticed any tears or defects with the mat. I would highly recommend this mat to anyone.

Review 15 for Everlast 2' x 6' Folding Exercise Mat
Excellent spine protection for situps

Nice and thick, and firm enough that my weight does not mash it flat. It provides excellent padding for my spine when doing situps. Just wide enough. I actually wish that it were shorter, in the interest of more comact storage, since there is no need for it to extend past my buttocks. Walmart shipped it to my home, very quickly, via FexEx, for only 97 cents!

This mat is exactly what i thought I was ordering. I bought it to be able to do my Physical Therapy stretches on the floor and it is working great. They have the same mats at the Curves that I belong to and they get used a lot and seem to hold up quite well. I'm very pleased with this product and would reccomend it to anyone.

Ordered two mats. One was very flimsy and the other was a little more firm, yet neither compare to the firmness of the mat that I bought back in 2006 from Academy.

This is just what I was looking for. We just put Nature Stone in our basement to replace carpet and needed a mat for exercise. Again, it's perfect. More $ than I wanted to spend but I looked around and mats aren't cheap!

it is ok

Cheapest for the same size gym mat. Quality is ok. Its thickness and firmness offer good protection. My daughter is on level 3 and watching how she practices on the mat I think, any thing more expensive is pure waste of money. A more expensive one wouldn't offer any more protection.
I do, however, prefer a wider one, probably double the width, and my daughter agrees. The length is OK.
