The Midland GXT795VP4 36-Mile 42-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio is the best of its kind. This water resistant two way radio is 11.5 inches in length, 9.2 inches in width and 3.25 inches in height. The Midland Camo two way radio has a range of up to 36 miles. Moreover, it offers 42 channels and 142 privacy codes. There are also 10 different types of call alerts provided by this hands free two way radio. It is mainly made for adults and comes with a built-in NOAA weather alert. This water-resistant radio also has a battery life extender that ensures long lasting usage. The pack includes two NiMH rechargeable batteries and a dual drop-in charger.

THe radios work very well. Easy to find channels with no static. Range is good and voice quality is fine. The headsets, which are basically free when you consider the price of this unit in relation to others, are lousy. Very uncomfortable and hard to get on and to keep in place. Meant for very small ears. So just use the radios without the headsets or buy better ones.
