HORRIBLE PACKAGING/damaged chairs

Loved the chairs, great value...however the packaging was horrible, 2 of the chairs were cracked and scratched and broken and I had to return those back to the store and reorder. This time I ordered 2 sets so I could piece the parts together to make 2 complete chairs that were not damaged. Great chairs but just know you will probably need to order an extra set due to the high probability they will be damaged. I read others comments about this before I ordered and they had the same complaint.

THese chairs are really cute and Walmart had a much better price than other websites for the exact same chairs. However, that being said... they are packaged very poorly. There is no foam or padding between pieces inside of the boxes, only thin bits of cardboard. The first time that we ordered them we only ordered one set because we wanted to be sure that we like them. When we got them home we opened the box to find the backs of both chairs were broken. We decided that we liked them so after returning these ones we bought two more sets. This time though I ordered an extra set(three sets total), just in case there were broken pieces again. We opened all three boxes at the store and pulled out any broken pieces and put them all in the same box. In the end we had two sets (four chairs total) that we kept and one set that we returned (this was the set that we put all of the broken parts into). The site-to-store associate at our store was very patient and great about helping us check all of the parts before going home. We are happy with our chairs and they look really nice. I would recommend getting them, but be sure to order an extra set b/c there will likely be broken parts.

These are great chairs for the $ !! Assembly is pretty easy, about 15 minutes each chair. I bought six chairs to go with a table I already had, and I am so happy with how they look!

These chairs are pretty. They are well constructed and stable. They are even (don't wobble). They are the perfect size (the seat). The chairs seem pretty well made. I am very happy with this purchase! My husband was even impressed. He asked me, "You got these from Wal-Mart?"

the only reason i rated this a 4 and not a 5 was that there was some packing damage done to one of the chairs. some of the paint was rubbed off, however the look of them is vintage and the actual paint job is a rubbed looked so it blends in therefore i did not return them. these chairs are beautiful! i love everything about them so far. at this time i have owned them for about 3 weeks. if something goes wrong with either of them i will repost.
