The Sharp LCD HDTV provides a convenient built-in DVD television solution with a distinctive design. The LC-22DV27UT features a side-loading progressive scan DVD player, a high-performance LCD panel for high brightness, a high contrast ratio, low-reflection glare protection and wide viewing angles.
Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of the Sharp 22" LCD HDTV. Contact your local cable or satellite TV provider for details on how to upgrade.

CD drive did not work until I took it apart. It now sucks in CD's but not sure how long it will last before I have to take it apart again. The picture quality is not the best....has an orange look.

I haven't had a TV for a long time---so I wasn't sure of the size. My living room is rather large, so this one is a bit small; however, it works great and the screen is wonderful in all light variations in the room! DVD works really well, too!

Perfect size for my tranquility room

This 22" is perfect for the room it is in; just a little smaller than I expected. I had to learned to adjust my sight from the much LARGER flat screen to this one. The room it is the smallest of the 4 bedrooms in the house and I use the room for my quiet, peaceful, private time so this is perfect. The picture is crisp and the DVD player on the side of the TV provide more room on the glass table. So far the DVDs play GREAT. It was easy to set up; I am verry pleased with the quality and the price of this product.
