The powerful Dirt Devil PD20008 Easy Steam Deluxe Mop features a continuous steam generating system that distributes steam across the entire pad surface. The smooth, even steam helps reduce pad soaking for fewer smears and streaks. The Dirt Devil deluxe steam mop uses regular tap water and takes hardly 30 seconds to come into operation. It includes a microfiber dusting pad that is easy to clean and maintain. The typically designed carpet glide attachment makes it easier to cleanse carpets and rugs. The kit has 2 multi-layer microfiber cloth pads, a fill cup and a funnel. The dusting pad and cloth pads included in the easy steam mop are machine washable. With a combination of a comfortable design and smooth operation this handheld steam mop is a very handy tool for every household.

I purchased for myself living in a 1100 sq ft house with two dogs. The bucket and mop was really getting old. The Dirt Devil has preformed way above my expectations!! I use it at least twice a week. My entire house is either hard wood or tile flooring. The DD is amazing on both. What a time and money saver. I was so pleased, I purchased one for my mother. I'm planning on purchasing another for a friends house warming gift. I love being able to throw the pads in the washer & the floor dry time is so much faster!! The floors seem much cleaner than the mop & bucket system. 2 thumbs up!! :)

I feel like this steam mop really disinfects my floors. It's lightweight and easy to use and since I live in a condo and have little space it's very easy to store away and fits anywhere. The only thing I wish was that I could have the smell of Lysol of cleaning product I get with another mop but it's ok because I know my floor is super clean. How do I know this? I walk around in white socks (which would always get dirty immediately) and I walk around for days and the bottom of my socks are WHITE! Love the product and I'm very excited every time I need to mop :)

Mopping goes a lot faster than with a conventional mop.

I had hoped to use steam to clean all of my floors (ceramic, laminate, vinyl, carpet) as indicated by ads & user reviews. Luckily I opted to try it first on ceramic tile where it left way too much moisture, and would have harmed other surfaces. Perhaps another product with steam output adjustment., or trigger would have been better.

Product is excellent for not having spend the money to get pro-cleaned. Does excellent job. Small tank so may have to go over floor twice depending on condition. Very satisfied. Shipping was fast one day if you can belienve that.

Very easy to set up. Long cord for larger rooms. Its harder to clean on my wood floors, but glides easily on tile. I recommend buying extra pads if cleaning more than one room at a time. Wished the water tank was larger and for the water display be up higher.

I used another steam mop for the last few years that cost 3 x's what we paid for the Dirt Devil.
I like the Dirt Devil better. The old one over saturated the floors with water but the Dirt Devil has a nice even flow of steam without leaving the floors overly wet. It's light weight and very easy to use. I can't comment on it's durability because I've only had it for a couple of weeks and used it a couple of times but I have no complaints so far.

I had this steam mop before and it worked beautifully, however we loved it so much that me and my grandma decided to do the not so smart thing and add a bit of cleaning solution for some nice scent obviously an error on our part and it stopped working. However, i decided to get it again and i love it so much no cleaning solution this time of course that was such a dumb idea. So far so good, i love how it refreshes our carpet with the carpet glider as well as the floors. The only thing is that once it starts running out of water if you tilt it it wont let out steam, you do have to refill every now and then but its not really an issue for me. If you tilt it too much the red light comes up and steam doesn't come out.
It is a great steam mop though! From before and now that i have it again am happy with my purchase and for the price you cant go wrong.

My reason for giving a 4 star rating is because it does run out of water fast. The steam mop is great but make sure you always have distilled water near you or even spring water...do not use tap.

This steam mop is very "user friendly" and does a great cleaning job my tile and vinyl floors! The mop heads are easy to apply, slide well on the floor, stay on the mop head during use, and are very absorbent! This product makes cleaning my floors a breeze!!

I was at my wit's end. I live in an older house, in the desert...with all tile floors. I've tried mopping, Swiffers, and even scrubbing on my hand and knees. Nothing worked. In desperation, I came on here and looked for alternatives. I ran across this and after reading the reviews...and the great price, I figured..why not? I tried it for the first time today and was pretty impressed. It's not as sturdy as I hoped...and it doesn't produce a TON of steam...but it does a GREAT job. It was super easy to use....ALOT easier than dragging out the mop and bucket. And it got the floor ALOT cleaner. I was shocked at how much dirt it got off the floors. When I was done, I threw the cloths in the washer and they got almost as clean as they were when I took them out of the box. I'll try it again tomorrow to get any dirt left behind. I definitely recommend it.

This product has been great so far. When I turned it on the first time I thought it was going to be a total flop though because it made a horrible clicking sound. I'm not sure if it was the water heating up and just getting itself through the unit or what, but it works fine now and has done a great job. I also liked that it came with a couple different pads and can be used on carpet as well.
I do wish that the handle felt a little bit stronger at it's highest height, but really this seems to be a great product for the price.

I've never written a review before, but felt this one is a must:
The on/off switch is a joke, unit comes back on if it's in an upright position. The only place the pad touches the floor is on the corners of the triangle..hence...you basically have a 1" wide mop. It takes over 6 minutes and 30 seconds for the tile floor to dry. Returning unit...don't understand why there are soooo many good reviews???

I read a lot of reviews that were positive on this mop. I went ahead and purchased it. Within a few months, it stopped steaming. I then took it back and exchanged it. Same thing after a few weeks. So, no more for me! I thought it might be a fluke the first time, but when it happened in the same time span, leaves me thinking there is only a few months lifetime on this mop. So I do NOT recommend it to anyone. I am going to now buy a Shark mop.

Never again will I use a mop or another brand of steam mops. I bought this product about 2 weeks b/f Christmas 2012 and until Feb. I was not able to use it so of course you can imagine how dirty my floors were. Of course I had to use both pads but it is shinny and clean now. This machine has a long cord as I was able to do my whole kitchen and dinning room w/o unplugging and moving cord. The pad never came off of mop even when there was stuborn dirt and had to use some elbow grease to get the sticky mess off of the floor. I had places (very heavy traffic areas) that I thought would never get clean but it didn't stop the Dirt Devil steam mop! The heavy soiled areas are completely gone. Easy to put together really no construction what so ever my 9 yr old could have put it together. I have not tried the carpet attachment but can't wait until I do try it. The only complaint I might have and a small one compaired to the job this little mircale does is that it does not hold much water. But not a big deal. I am willing to put up with refilling during cleaning to get these awesome results. One tip when the green light starts to flash when water is low don't wait for it to turn red but turn machine off and refill with water. B/C the more steam the quicker and cleaner your floor will become. I totally recommend this awesome machine and as far as using a mop I will never use one again if I can help it. LOVE LOVE this machine!

This Dirt Devil Steam Mop is great.Easy to use,lightweight and really puts out lots of steam.
Takes no time to heat up and the cord is a good length. Love the way the shaggy mop gets into the grout of ceramic tile which is always the hardest to clean. I replaced a HAAN steam cleaner with the DD. The Haan pads are flat which does not get into grout. I like that i can use on carpet with the tray and carpet pads. Very nice feature. Have not used on carpet as of yet. The price of the DD is awesome because this steamer is a workhorse :) it really cleans and sanitizes.
