Overall I think this product works well. My wife bought this item one and half years ago. I used this product only three times. The 6" x 10" is leaking at the seam /the belt has no adjustment my waist is 38 ''I agree with Mr. do not buy and also with Miss very awkward. This product needs to go back to the drawing table for purposes of real people using this product. I think if they used two straps instead of one the product would not slip out. I added two straps of Velcro to prevent it happening. Always read instructions./ Check your microwave/1000/1100 Watts/one minute 45 seconds to 3 min. only. Not 6 min. I hope it works out for you disappointed consumers. This is not Walmarts fault Ill just go back and buy a 6" x 12" for $9.88 plus tax.

I've used heating pads and other similar products and this by far is the worst one I've ever used. After being in microwave for 6 minutes it still put off very little heat. What heat it did have only lasted for 5 minutes. The pouch is almost completely worthless. There is no way to close it so the pack keeps sliding out. I tryed to secure it around my waist but it's so flimsy it won't stay in play. I have not used it as a cold pack so I don't know how it performs for that but as for heating DO NOT waste your money on this.

The Smart Temp packs are very versatile. Both sizes work well for different places on the body! The added benefit of a velcro strap to keep the gel pack in place is an excellent design feature. The fact that the instructions for the hot/cold pack is actually written right on the pack is excellent. I reccommend this Therapy pack because of its' multiple use feature: Hot or Cold!

Its a very big gel pack in a cover made of very cheap thin material. It has no closures to secure the
gel pack, so it comes out often when you are trying to get it ready (gel pack says not to touch it after its been heated...kind of hard not to when its always falling out. I bought it for lower back problems, no way I could wear it under my clothes in public, it looks like I have about 3 adult diapers on. The opening has to face your skin for the velcro on the belt to attach without twisting around, just what i want to take a chance with next to my skin. Only reason I rated it a two is that
it is large enough to put behind my back while sitting in the computer chair, however it just doesn't put off enough heat for long enough.

I purchased this for my brother who had throat surgery. He was experiencing swelling in the throat area and this ice pack worked perfectly he was able to place it exactly where he needed it using the attached velcor straps.

I didn't want to buy them at first but once I tried them I was very satisfied and I highly recommend them. I suffer from low back pain and the big ice pack covers very well this area and stays cold for a long time. You can use them while you are relaxing and when you are in movement. It is flexible doesn't matter how cold it is. Really comfortable.

I had originally purchased a similar single hot/cold pack product at another chain for about 50% more than this cost. When I saw this, I purchased and returned the other.
This product freezes quickly, and provides more than the 1 hour quoted of cold relief.
Have not tried it as a hot pack.
