Great except for Base

This was a real buy. I love the huge screen instead of trying to see my laptop screen. I do have one concen that I think is a flaw in the design. For some reason the monitor seats in the base at a forward angle vs just straight up & down & is not a very tight fit. This makes it very unstable & awkward & it will tip over & fall out of the base when just trying to move it forward or backward.

We just can't tell you how much we love this monitor. It was very easy to install and it makes all our pictures look bright and crisp. It is a beautiful monitor and we just wish we hadn't waited so long to buy it. We are happier than two gophers in soft dirt and we know that you will be too!!

The display is a bit light, but I am still getting use to it. I am happy with it so far. Acer has a good reputation, so this is comfortable. Having been busy, I have just hooked it up and enjoying having a good monitor.

This monitor is everything I expected, however it wouldn't work properly when BOTH the VGA and DVI cords were connected to my PC. When both were connected, the monitor screen wouldn't activate until one of the Input buttons was engaged (any of them, it didn't seem to matter which one), even though the blue Power button was on. I disconnected the DVI plug, and now it works like my other monitors. I readily admit to not being familar with DVI.
For me, the Input buttons (for adjusting brightness, etc.) are located inconveniently at the bottom of the monitor. They are kind of "tucked away" and are difficult to operate.
Also, the instructions are in a PDF file on a CD. Even though I have Adobe Reader, I had to reinstall Adobe Reader from the CD before I could see the instructions. In my opinion, the instructions are poorly written, and not much help.
However, with the monitor adjusted the way I want it and now working properly, I have no complaints.

I had a 19 " monster (TV tube type) that ate my desktop space. This Acer 21.5 " is sleek & thin. Now,I have tons of room and it saves energy too. Great purchase, cheaper than the store, they sent it fast as well. If I were an organ donor, I would want to donate my eyes to someone who was going to purchase this monitor. That would give my eyes a second chance to see "real" beauty. (But really, It is a pretty good monitor.)

Bought this monitor was sent to my house and I've been messing with the darn thing for 2 weeks trying to get it to work. Acer wants me to send it back but it's ridiculous paying shipping for their broken monitor they sent me. Overall not happy with my purchase because I haven't even got to use it. Had to borrow a monitor just to use my computer.

When I first purchased this monitor I was very pleased. However, after about a week of use, I noticed two stuck pixels. I have tried jscreen fix to un-stick these pixels with no success. Acer's return policy states that you must have 6 or more pixels (stuck or dead) in one section (screens are split into sections and are all of equal size). These pixels are impossible to see from about 3 feet away, but is it too much to ask that the screen is free of imperfections? I have a 19 in monitor that I run with dual screens. It is an off brand that I paid very little for, and it has no imperfections at all. I expected better quality from a big name like Acer. If you can get past having a stuck pixel or two, then this monitor is for you.

I purchased this monitor to replace the Acer X223W, which is 22" and has a resolution of 1680x1050. Even though this new monitor is a tad smaller than the previous one, it more than makes up for that by having a 1080p HD display and it is so much brighter! I now use both monitors, side by side and game/watch movies on this P215H while using the older X223W for web browsing, system monitoring and so forth. I'm very pleased with the purchase and recommend it to anyone!
