EXCELLENT FOR CARDINALS IF YOU PUT IN SAFFLOWER

I use this feeder for Cardinals and house finches and morning doves. I fill the feeder with safflower seed. I clean it 3 times a years and it cleans very easy. The rope broke on a older one and I only had to go to the hardware store to buy a new rope and easy to fix. The seed stays dry in the feeder. If you put sunflower in it the squirrels will come so it is best to put safflower in it cause squirrels don't like it. Connie from Wisconsin

Great bird feeder. Holds a large amount of seed so that frequent re-filling is not needed. It can be pole mounted with very little work. Very high quality.

We received these bird feeders (ordered two) and they live up to their expectations. The birds love them and the bird seed stays dry. We don't have to worry about restocking them every week as we did the old ones. There is only one drawback to these feeders. If you don't have them mounted on a pole tall enough, the deer ALSO love the bird seed.
