Panasonic Panasonic 360-Degree Quick Multi-Directional Iron NI-W750TS
The Panasonic NI-W750TS 360-Degree Quick Multi-Directional Iron with anti-calcium system is loaded with features to make ironing easier and more efficient. This steam iron is ergonomically designed with a multi-directional, curved soleplate to ensure smooth, normal movement in any direction. The plastic handle is comfortable to hold, letting you press clothes for a long time. The Panasonic steam irons soleplate is coated with titanium to help you press your clothes fast. The auto shut-off feature has a mercury-free electronic sensor, which switches off the iron after ten minutes if it is in vertical position. You can easily check the water level in the see-thro water tank. The 1500-watt quick steam iron comes with both dry and steam operation to suit your varied requirements. You can choose either spray or mist with just a push of a button. With five fabric settings to choose from, you can be assured that you are using the right temperature for your clothing.

The way to improve an iron would be for the iron to do the work for me. Does it get nice and hot? Yes. Does it make a lot of steam? Yes. Does it spray and shoot steam? Yes. Does it reduce ironing time by 25%? Well....

I never thought an iron was much to mess with regarding improvements. I had the B&D digital iron; digit failure/controls lost. Went on a rampage and bought 4 irons at once, none of them were impressive. One simply did the job slightly better than the others. I saw the ad in an old magazine and it got my attention because it was odd to see an ad for an iron. I soon forgot about it until my old iron went to spray starch heaven, right smack dab in the middle of my heap 'o' wrinkled work clothes. The 3 'backup' irons were so ticked off about sitting on the sidelines, they wouldn't even warm up to the idea of going into play.
When I bought this iron, I also bought the Honey Do quad-leg ironing board with the little do-hickey on the end. This iron, that board and Netflix is all you need to get the job done.
360 has a comfortable weight; Too heavy wears me out, too light beats me up; Good hot temp and steam. Old iron had 'burst of steam', fun to hear but the 360 steam seems more measured than the burst. Very unsure about the pointy-pointy sole plate; Thought that if I returned the iron, the pointy-pointy would be the reason why. I am loving the pointy-pointy sole plate! With this iron, the board and the movies, I ran out of things to iron before I realized it. My board was stable and I didn't have to keep it from wabbling. My iron was excellent to the task. I didn't have to steam, press and hold repeatedly so my back and shoulders and neck were spared from the pain and exhaustion of ironing. The Panasonic 360 goes beyond my expectations. An iron is an iron, right? Well, no . . . 360 is different, it's a better spouse trap.

I was skeptical about the pointed design on both ends but after using it I am convinced. This is the best iron ever! The steam ports are exceptional and the iron gets very hot. I love it! Believe it or not, ironing does go faster with the pointed ends coming and going.

I read a lot of reviews on multiple sites before I decided on this product. The deciding factor for me was the ability to detach and use as a hand steamer. Not only did the steamer mop clean my floors with no streaking and less water left behind than my Shark, but the hand steamer did a beautiful job on my glass shower doors and grout. I'm very happy with this product and glad I didn't get another Shark.

I'm a quilter and read a review from another quilter who said this iron was good for pressing blocks and she was right. Lots of steam and presses things really well. Nice smooth sole plate that glides smoothly over my blocks. Wish it would stay on a little longer tho in between times when I'm sewing and pressing. I had purchased another iron from WalMart and returned it because it just didn't get hot enough to press very well. This one gets nice and hot and all my friends who have used it at our sewing circles love it!

Never had an iron that needed the water emptied and a knob turned after each use. And, those irons lasted a long time. With this one, I'm gonna have to change my personality.

This iron does just what it claims it will do. If you take special care of your product, as instructed, it will perform just as it was meant to. I do alterations as a profession and I needed an iron that would perform quicker and more efficient than other irons that I have owned. This one meets and exceeds what I expected .

I totally underestimated how the shape of the plate would affect my ironing. I thought it might just be a gimmick but it truly makes a great difference! I love that the steam button is on the left side of the iron making it easy for me to use my right thumb for a steam burst. (That's actually very important to me). I don't know if the reservoir is larger than other irons I've owned or if it's just a more efficient iron but I've only had to refill it once in over a weeks worth of ironing. It's easy to fill with a tight door. As long as you stay at the 'MAX' line, it doesn't leak. The design is not only ergonomic but also very attractive. I actually don't mind ironing now! :)

I just purchased this steam iron, so don't know how durable it is yet. But so far I really like using it. The iron doesn't leak (two other brands I tried leaked on the fabric), steams well, and with the shape of the sole it doesn't catch on the fabric and doesn't iron in wrinkles when pressing backwards.

I like the looks of this iron and the weight of it. I feel an iron should have a little weight because it helps to "press" the clothes. I like the dual ended point. But to me the iron has a little drag to it when ironing across the clothing. I'm use to a stainless steel sole plate. And this iron boasts that when you pull the iron back it does not grab the peice being ironed therefor causing wrinkles, but that happened to me a couple of times. Also the iron has a lot of steam holes but the "burst" of steam is minimal, like I can not even see it when I burst it. I've been using a 25.00 Black and Decker that I got at Wal Mart to see which one I would like better, and the B&D has fewer steam holes but boy does it blast out the steam with the burst of steam. Also the B&D does not seem to drag across the clothes (the drag is not severe but I notice it). The Panasonic does not seem as stable when sitting up when not in use. The Panasonic 350* does a very nice job of ironing, but I like the B&D for the steam and stability when sitting up and the no drag factor. The 25.00 B&D does just as good a job ironing and so I think I will stay with it. I think you just need to try out the iron to see if it will work for you. This could be a 5 star iron for you. Could not comment on durability as I have only had it for a few hours!

I've only used this iron a couple of times since purchasing it, but so far, I like it. Of course something about the design appeals to me as a Star Trek fan :), but the iron is easy to use and comfortable to handle while ironing. The water port is easy to access and fill. The dial has many settings so you can get the desired amount of heat. The off setting on the dial is at the 7 o'clock position, and the most-used settings, at least for me, are all the way around near the 4, and 5 o'clock positions; hopefully the dial holds up, seems like a lot of spinning. The steam settings work well for my husband's 100% cotton work shirts. I have not tried the steam-while-hanging feature yet. The iron is a little on the heavy side, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who may have less hand or arm strength, like the elderly. But it suits me just fine.

I researched many irons prior to buying this one. I have had Black and Decker, Sunbeam and others. They don't last more than a year. This one puts out really good steam on cotton, which I need for my uniform for work. I like that the water container is clear and I can see how much water is left. It's not too heavy and presses very well. I definitely recommend this iron.

I really like this iron and i'm glad I bought it. I'll start with the two things I don't like about it: it is a little heavy and it's a little awkward to use the controls. but other than that I adore this iron! Heats up fast. Love the design--seems quite sturdy. (The only reason I gave it average for durability is I've only had it a month so I don't know how it will hold up.) One of the reasons it makes ironing go faster is that the resevoir is twice as big as my old Rowenta so I don't have to stop to refill as often. Also like I can use distilled water in it. I didn't have any and looked for it at Walmart when I picked up the iron. Guess what? Walmart didn't have it. But I have very hard water and I am glad there is no prohibition against using distilled water as with other irons. I do like the pointy part at both ends--goes much faster ironing sleeves, for instance. You can just go back and forth and the pointy part can get into the pleats by the cuffs. Like the controls for extra burst of steam on top. Like that that steam comes out of all the bottom. All in all I think it is a very good iron for the money. Spent much more on my Rowenta and it was just a garden variety iron. I think you are really getting cutting edge iron technology with this one.

I have never been fond of ironing but its a job that needs to be done. I used to have to iron my hubbie's uniforms( Air Force) and I wish I had this little iron back then. This iron heats up fast and when you make it go horizontally, the water stays in the iron! Not all over the material. I have only had it a few weeks so I am not sure of durability, but it is well made and the design is wonderful for getting into the corners and not wrinkling on the back stroke. I am actually enjoying ironing! Yes you can buy a cheaper one, but this is worth the money. It may be the last iron I will ever have to buy. ;)

This iron is innovative. The sole plate slides well, and it provides abundant steam. The double points do save time in that it is not necessary to continually turn the iron around for pleats, etc. When buying an item that has not changed in 50 years, it is nice to see an iron that is a bit different.

I do like the iron so far, It seems like the highest setting is not as hot for my jeans as I prefer as the Rowenta that I had before. For other fabrics I am pleased with it. But, I am very unhappy with ordering it from Wal-mart.com, because it took over three weeks to finally get my order. You would think that Wal-mart could be as fast if not faster than when I have ordered all other items from different sites.

I LOVE this iron. It will take some getting used to since I do a lot of quilting. It is much lighter than I expected, like almost no weight. The steam works great, I have not yet tried the spray.
