I was originally looking for the 1 Gallon but it wasn't available so I purchased this one.
It has great suction. I wanted it mostly for cleaning my car. I have not tried it with water and probably won't have the need to use that feature. Good little vacuum for the price.

Don't waste your money on this small shop vac. While it has plenty of suction, it has a very short cord, short hose and falls over frequently. Each time it falls over the motor has to be turned off so the check valve can re-seat. It is a very frustrating unit to operate and I do not recommend purchasing this unit.

My old shop vac was so large, it took up too much in garage, so it sat in the basement for years unused because it was a druge to move it upstairs. This 1,5 gal is great! I'm breaching senior citizens status & have extreme RA. This is so easy and effecient. I was suppprised that the suction factor was better than the old shop vac. Good product = great price.

I have used Shop Vac products for most of my adult life. When I moved to an apartment I missed my larger Shop Vac's and decided to get a small 1.5 Gallon to use to clean up small messes around the apartment. In the winter, I use the shop vac to clean up my electric wheelchair. It cleans up the mud and dirt I track into the house with no problems. I would recommend this item for anyone for cleaning up mud and dirt. It also comes in handy for cleaning chairs after you shampoo them. I got the wand extensions so I could use it as a floor vac for the kitchen and bathroom floors and not have to bend over. It works perfect.

This vacuum was ideal for the amount of space I live in and storage capacity. With this vacuum being so small and the price, I figured it would wouldn't be the best but would get the job done faster than a small broom and dustpan. I was WRONG. This vacuum has wonderful suction and does an excellent job! Got the job done fast which allowed me to move on to other things. Cleaning the vacuum was easy and painless. I would recommend this vacuum to others. Perfect!

Wonderful lightweight helper. Has great suction power. When we use it on spills, the carpet is almost dry when we finish. You don't often find things that work as well as this for such a low price.

I bought this based upon the positive ratings I read. First time it was used there wasn't much water but after there was an inch of water in it it started shooting water out. They talked about misting in the instructions but this was more than a little water. Certainly 1.5 gallons is a joke. I will be returning it tomorrow.

I purchased this about a week ago for my car. It does a great job for a little bit of money. By vacuuming my and my wife's car monthly this purchase will pay for itself in a couple of months. I dread putting quarters in the vacuum machine at the car wash. Now I don't have to!!!

It looks like a toy, but it's not. The vacuum is light, sturdy and powerful. Its only downfall is the stability; a broader base would help. With all the weight on top, a tug on the hose knocks it over, although it continues to pick up on its side. OK for solids, not so much for liquids. All in all, however, it's a minor gripe and a very good purchase for the price.
