Bought this for venting cool air into my greenhouse. It does not draw much power, moves a lot of air and best of all is very quiet. As for what it is meant to do, it will vent out the engine compartment in a boat in no time.

Seems to be a well-made product. Wasn't sure how "quiet" I could expect, but anxious to replace my noisy old fan (different brand). So, now that it's installed, I would rate the sound as reasonable, though not silent....while providing significant airflow. I would purchase this brand again.
