Bought them for clothing storage for our very small pop-up camper. They go quickly from the minivan to the small counter in the camper. We have them stacked by two's opening to the front...taking up little space while allowing us to easily access our things. We no longer have to dig through suitcases. Love them!

The file crates (and color) are just what I was looking for! Dragged myself around a few Walmart and Lowes stores trying to find them.....only to find out that a few clicks on the computer was all I needed to order them and receive them, postage-free, picking them up at Walmart in much less time than was expected. Good job, Walmart!

These crates stack one on top of the other, but not positioned open on the side. I was going to use these for shelves on the patio for kids toys, and I still will, but will have to refigure how to make toys accessible with crates stacked on top of each other.

I bought a set of these to use as easy to move shelving for my book collection. They are not as sturdy as the industrial milk crates that would find from a dairy, but they still hold a good amount of weight, stack very well, and get the job done. Great for dorms and college students, or if you move a lot like I do.

Couldn't get the ones they sold at the store so I bought these online. They're smaller in length but still stackable. It doesn't make sense that they don't keep the ones sold at the store for online purchase.

These are cheap crates and are a good deal for the price, but next time I'd prefer to spend a bit more money for the other Sterilite model that has the struts on the side that allow them to fit together for stacking. Non-stacking crates are not as useful.

Crates Too Small for Records

Sterilite has cut the size of these crates. We used to buy them for vinyl records (LPs - 12 inch). However, records will no longer will fit in any Sterilite crate that we have tested. Very frustrating! Returned them to Walmart.

These are real good for sorting, storing and organizing just about all sort of objects. The only drawback is the bottom having holes which makes small objects fall thru them. I used cardboard to overcome this issue. Otherwise, real good crates for a very good price.
