This simple, small, lightweight speaker bar was the perfect solution to the poor built in speakers in my laptop. I use my laptop for instructional purposes in small groups and the built in speakers were hard to hear unless turned way up and at that level were hard to understand. Easy to pack in the same case as the laptop and plugs into a USB port so no extra power cords needed.

I wanted something that didn't take up a lot of space with decent sound.This product did just that but was smaller than expected.For its size it sounds good till you reach about 75% volume before it starts distorting.If you're looking for big stereo sound and deep bass this is not for you.But if you just want to listen to news videos,how to videos or back ground music on home pc it works good.

Not bad for the price, although there are a few shortcomings. I know these speakers are sold as laptop speakers, but I bought them to use with a desktop. So my review is coming from that point of view. First they are not very loud. This may have something to do with the PC they are plugged into but I have tried them on 2 different computers and they weren't very loud on either of them. The USB cable is very short and they would not work with a USB extension cable. They will not mount to any of my flat screen displays. The displays were all too thick. Bottom line, if you are looking for speakers for a laptop that are not all that loud these speakers should do just fine. Any thing else, probably not.

Sound is great. Better than I expected. However, it does not "clamp on" to my laptop as advertised. Not even close. I just lay it to the side and it works fine, but I would have much preferred that it sit atop the screen. It would make the sound even better and would make for less clutter around my work area. If I were to do it again, I would definitely go with a more expensive product that actually does clamp to my laptop. Would not recommend to a friend.

Just apply mounting tape and stick the soundbar whereever you want it (I put on top of the monitor). I'm using it with my desktop PC in the living room. It had freestanding stereo speakers of medium quality before but where on earth to put them without the constant annoyance from falling to the floor, tangling with other cords, etc. These days I will only use monitors with built-in speakers for my desktops. For this particular unit, however, it has a large widescreen excellent LCD worth keeping, so I simply gave the speakers to the first person who asked for them then ordered this soundbar. Works great.

I plugged it in, and the only sound I heard was from my laptop speakers. I held the Kinyo speaker to my ear, and didn't hear any sound. I'm taking it back, and will try something else.

I was disappointed with the sound quality simply because it lacked the real stereo sound for me. I also could not get it to stay on top of my laptop as shown in the picture. I am returning the product, and would not recommend this product to anyone wanting real stereo sound. I bought some logitech wireless speakers, and am totally satisfied now.

The only problem I have with the speaker is that it doesn't clip on to my laptop. It just sets on top of it and is always falling off. Otherwise I like the sound. My laptop volume wasn't loud enough especially for music. For the price, I would recommend this speaker.

I think it is a good product as it sounds better then regular lap top speakers and is easy to use. I like to watch movies when I am out or visiting family some times and this sound bar is not to loud but still makes the movies enjoyable. I would recomend this to those who like their privacy and want to use their lap top and hear it.

I originally really was satisfied with this product when I first bought it...easy plug and play...etc. the problem I had and why I took it back was because the holders are not steady for them to stay on the computer...whenever I moved around on my bed - when I watched a movie, let's say, and just moved a LITTLE bit, the speaker would fall on my keyboard and I was afraid this was beginning to damage my keyboard! Why build something that was not tested properly for stability? I don't understand the illogical thinking behind this...needs sturdier holders or the cheap thing will damage your computer as it falls on the keyboard eventually...
