This phone has a very low ring even on the highest volume.
It echoes, it also has static. I started to buy a phone that was 20. Cheaper
I decided to go with the Panasonic because of the reputation. That was a mistake.

Very happy with this phone. Very easy to use, and nice looking. I like the big buttons and that the volume of the ring is perfect. My favorite feature is the call blocker. I can now block the people (telemarketer's, bill collectors, that think you owe them money, and those that chose to call 8:30pm on a Sunday evening). Thank you Walmart!!!

Great product and even better that Walmart carries it for an even better price. Had it shipped to home-shipping less than $3.00. Can't beat that either. Product has great clarity, easy to use, and EASY to read names and numbers. My previous cordless was also a Panasonic-about 10 years old-still works but wanted this model so I didn't have to keep looking for my glasses to see who was calling. Completely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

We went through 2 other brands trying to find affordable cordless phones that actually sounded good. Finally! This one is really good. The only, and I mean only, thing I'd improve is the selection of ringers/ring tones.
Otherwise it feels great, is well built, sturdy, and sounds really good on both ends of the conversation.
I'd definitely get them again if I needed to.

This is my second Panasonic phone....great quality...clarity is awesome...I will continue to buy Panasonic's phones over & over again....nothing is perfect but this Panasonic's phone is close to being perfect...I'm lovin it

This phone was everything we were looking for but without a mute button it would definitely not work in a noisy household as sometimes we have to block out background noise. Who would have thought that you even needed to list this as a feature? Very disappointing. They are going back to the store.

My old phone was dying and I did not have one beside my bed. It was a very easy product to install and set up. I added voice mail from my telephone company as this one did not have it. Overall, I would highly recommend this produce.

I have had a set like this for about ten years,and was quit happy,thats why I ordered these again ,only to receive thes light weight copys.they slip out of your fingers when trying ti take them ouy of the storage charger,and most of all the volume at as high as it will go and I still am unable to hrar! I Would Very much like to return this product !!!

I had the previous, similar model which was excellent but 6 years old. I now needed to Call Block, since AT&T no longer offered on home phones they now push (Wireless). So I ordered it - it came quickly by FedEx ground. I can Call Block up to 30 numbers (you still have a single ring when it hits), & records time and number of who it was. Great feature for many reasons and caller not aware. Good speaker-phone quality too.

New cordless phone doesn't crash my TV

We had a 7-yr old Panasonic cordless w/2 handsets and were replacing the batteries every 3-4 months. Suspect that the batteries were defective or OEM and too old. Bought this Panasonic and immediately loved the bright, readable screen and simpler operating instructions. Especially like the ring tones for different "groups" in our phone directory. And, as an added bonus: We have been having problems with our living room TV set that picks up a wireless signal from an AT&T transmitter upstairs. The TV would often crash in DVR playback mode...very frustrating. With the new Panasonic phone there is apparently less radio wave interference and our TV is now working great!

We enjoy the hands free speaker the most. Battery life is long. Easy to read numbers. We did have one to stop working. With the warrenty it was covered. No problems since. Plan on buying one for my son.

This purchase replaces an older version of basically the same phone. The last set of Panasonic cordless phones worked flawlessly for many many years.
This set is simple to operate with a very easy to read info screen and nicely sized buttons. Sound quality is great and the price was very reasonable.
Have only had these phones in use for a few weeks but if they perform as well as our last set, of Panasonic cordless phones, we'll be happy for years to come.

I was in the market for a cordless phone without an inbuilt voicemail and came across consumer reports recommendation for his phone. This is a good phone and meets expectation. The sound is clear and sharp. I have only used it for couple of weeks and the battery life is good. The ECO feature for saving battery life works for about 2 rooms from the base unit.
Pros : Price, range, clear voice, ECO feature for long battery life.
Cons : the phone does not have a caller id voice feature which announces the incoming caller id. My workaround has been to put important numbers in a group and change the ring tone for that group.

I have a set of these phones in my office and when my phones needed to be replaced upstairs I bought these again simply for the headset jack. I like being able to talk hands-free when in the kitchen or at the computer. The sound quality is good and am very pleased with these phones.
