I purchased this for delivery to my local store. The box was damaged in the corner. But we brought it home anyways. Well it was damaged, so we brought it back thinking the store would just re-order. Not the case. They refunded my money and told me I had to go online and reorder it myself at walmart.com. I have also purchased the extended warranty and still they couldn't re-order. So I purchased it somewhere else.

I purchased this unti a few weeks ago for use at work. I use it to keep lunch and snack food and drinks in. Coffee creamer, lunch meat, condiments, juices, etc. Lots of room, so much room I can share space with a copule of co-workers. Shelving arrangement is good, door holds large containers of mustard and mayonaise, and large containers of coffee creamer. 64 oz and 100 oz juice containers fit fine in the bottom with the lowest 1/'2 shelf removed. Freezer is small, so if you want a larger freezer compartment this one isn't for you. Freezer is perfect size for my needs, and that means more space in the referigarator compartment. Freezer comes with an ice tray and will hold a couple of them. It also works great for ice cream bars which are popular at work. Door seal is good, compressor is quiet and it cools down quickly. I use it for making iced tea also. Brew the tea in a drip electric coffee maker with tea bags in the glass pot, let it brew for an hour on the coffee maker, then put the still hot tea into the referigerator. Unit handles the load well and cools it down just fine.
Very good unit, pleased with it. Outer appearance is as good as any. For the price, this thing has huge bang for buck value.

This refrigerator fit right into the broke refrigerator space and has enough space for me and my man to keep things cool and frozen. We enjoy camping so much and needed this to really enjoy camping. Very happy we got it. The refrigerator and mircowave combo was the right price and we are very, very happy.

It's early but this compact 'fridge is working well. Had to turn down the thermostat a bit because liquids were freezing. Just wish it had a larger freezer area. Two reasons why purchasing this GE 'fridge from Walmart was so easy and convenient: 1) researched and purchased on line 2) Had the 'fridge delivered directly to my office (an extra $10.00).

Lots of space inside for a compact refrigerator and this is a real refrigerator and not a cooler. It is a quiet worker. The food inside is always nice and cold, beverages chilled and ready to quench your thirst. Glass shelving is easier to clean then wire racks and storage on the door is adequate. The only minus would be there is no inside light, but that is not a problem for me. Turning on a room light will let you see what you are looking for. After all, it is not like you are entering a walk in refrigerator. A Walmart* associate even helped me load it in my car, which was appreciated.

Great size, we got it to use at the boat dock when we stay there on the weekends so we don't have to keep our food in coolers and use so much ice. It's wonder for that. A great size too. The freezer is small but we didn't really need the freezer room anyway. I would highly recommend this product.

Have had it for a couple of years -- and so far, so good. Cools really well - freezer freeZes really well, though requires defrosting about once a month - not a big problem as it takes only a couple of hours after being powered down.
Pros: Large size for a compact, much of additional volume comes from depth of shelves, not width.
Cools pretty well all the way to bottom shelf.
Fridge itself makes a good "table" because of large surface area at about 33 in height.

Strange shelving on inside of door - shelf is very narrow when compared to width of wire

This is a lot of refrigerator for the money. It runs very quiet. I removed one of the shelves and I am able to store a case of bottled beer and a case of pop in it (cans). It keeps the drinks very cold at only the mid way setting of 4. The fridge arrived without a scratch on it via UPS within about three days I also have a very small compact GE fridge that I bought about 15 years ago...I gave that one to my son and it's still running for him. These GE refrigerators are good quality.

Bought this for our department at work so a small group of us could store our lunch items and drinks. Excellent capacity, well made, and quite nice looking. Everyone is very pleased with this refrigerator. The 4.5 cu. ft. capacity is a real bargain for the price.

If you need a small refrigerator to fit into a small space, this is it!! I live in an apartment, and I put this neatly into the rear of the closet. It is incredibly well made and sturdy. I use it to store milk, fruit juice, yogurt and sour cream, to free up space in the main refrigerator in the kitchen.
Where the manufacturer totally fails, is how it is packed for shipping. There is just not enough cushioning for such a large and heavy object. It arrived, after receiving some obviously rough handling by the shipper, Federal Express. The little freezer compartment in the refrigerator had been torn from its' mounting brackets, and the metal frame of the freezer compartment was bent out of shape. Luckly I have metal working tools that I know how to use, so I was able to reform it and refit it back onto its' mounting brackets. It is a real testimony to how well the refrigerator is made, that it would work after all this rough handling. It worked great!!!!!!!!!!!

Well constructed appliance, but needs a better freezer for small frozen treats. Also could stand to be reconfigured to store larger items auch as millk. Overall, is excellent for a bedroom,dorm,, or den.

Chose shipping for $9.97 and the refrigerator was in our office within 4 business days. It was wonderful not to have to take off from the office to drive to and pickup the unit. Meets all of our needs for a small office. I would caution anyone on getting a smaller version. I don't think it would be of any value as you wouldn't be able to store much at all. The 4.5 has plenty of room and takes up very little space. We are very pleased with the unit and the price was very reasonable.
