I bought this phone mainly because I would have T-mobile service. I had a Samsung phone before this one and liked it very much but because I had to be on a plan that I had to buy time every month and it would not accumulate, it was not good for me. I use the phone for emergencies, if I am lost and keep it on everyday for messages I may receive. The T-mobile phone plan works great and the phone has a camera and can store about 100 names. I need nothing more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good phone that works well as long as you don't need any assistance from samsung. Batteries on two identical phones started losing charge faster than normal and samsung will not replace them without inspecting old batteries first. Instructed me to send phones in for evaluation, only seven days for turn around. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Pathetic customer service from samsung and t-mobile isn't any better. Recurring service outage from t-mobile makes this phone a great paperweight. Otherwise the phone works as advertised.

I purchased this phone for my mother. Her phone died and needed a new one right away. She used it for a while until I got her a new phone. Overall, it was a good phone. She used it for a while and still has it as a back up phone. All we did was change the chip. It worked out. She still has it.

I like this phone but wasn't thrilled with the monthly plans it offers it is nice for internet surfing but have found when trying to talk it's really hard to hear on it otherwise I like this phone worth the money!

Can't beat the price.....$25.00 for a simple phone and when used with a prepaid T-Mobil plan ...good value. The phone only does talk, text and take photos. The photos were better than I expected, very sharp and clear. The phone is for emergencies if the vehicle breaks down. Not a 'smart' phone.

I am totally IN LOVE with this phone! I am not a huge cell phone user...I don't text or Skype or stream live data on my phone or my computer, and very seldom chat on the phone. I don't use it every day. But I do need one for emergency calls and to keep in touch with a few people. And I only pay for time I use instead of carrying a big fee and minutes I never use. This little phone is small and so very handy! It is easy to use, has all the applications that I need, and gets wonderful, clear reception even without any bars evident! I live in a fairly remote area, and still I get service even out in the back of beyond! I have had other cell phones in the past, and I truly must say that this little guy is the best one I have ever owned. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a simple, basic phone without all the bells and whistles, but still needs a phone that is simple and convenient to use, and will not break the budget.

This is a great back-up affordable cell phone. Especially when your still in a contract with T-mobile. Only advice, is to check your area zip code first on the Walmart website before you go ahead and purchase your phone. No bells & whistles, but certainly does the job.

Great phone for the cheap price. Very nice and this phone had one option features that I like is a blocking feature if you want to block any unwanted number. You don't have to deal with unwanted calls. I like this phone much better any smart phones. I used to have a nice Samsung galaxy II, but I rather have this one over the smart phone. Very easy to use and not expensive.

I got it for my girlfriend to be safe. So far, it's been doing very well in texting and calling. One snag is, T-Mobile doesn't know how to transfer numbers from TracFones. So you'll have to accept the new phone number they give you. Overall, this phone's easy to operate and it's good for the money. I would recommend this phone to anyone.

If you read all of the reviews online you will see that this is a great phone for basic calling needs.I took my sim card out of my old T-Mobile contract phone and put it in this phone without activating the phone for pre-paid use.Signal is very good,sound is good.My sons seem to wreck my expensive phones regularly. This phone is a good alternative.Just around $25 to replace.When this phone gets destroyed I will simply buy another without the high cost.Read up on phone before buying though.As you cannot connect to your pc and download pictures.

This isn't fancy, but if you are looking for a phone with clear reception, sturdy and dependable, this will due just fine. I had this model previously a few years ago, and they have decreased the weight without sacrificing any quality. The only negatives I would have are very few ringtones to chose, and with bluetooth in an auto, you have to connect it each time you get in the care. But, overall a solid phone at a great price.

Love Samsung flip phone. simple and easy to use. even sends photos to email addresses... my previous LG phone for T-Mobile wouldn't do that and I lost some very precious photos when my phone went in the fire.

This is a nice phone for the price and for a simple first phone. Originally got one for my mother who enjoys simple things but wants one that provides enough features to keep her happy. Combined with the $100 for 1,000 minutes, good for a year, T-Mobile plan ... this plan works for both of us. Hope you enjoy it like we do!
