OK, so we bought this nightstand, the bed and a headboard from Walmart.com. Picked it up instore when it came in. No dramas. My son was so anxious to have his furniture, and we had company that evening, so he actually put this nightstand together himself. He made only one error, I do have to say the instructions were a bit vague on that step, but nothing that compromised the nightstand. Four screw receivers out, two pieces rotated 180 and put on opposite sides, placed back into receivers and WHALA - a nightstand. I would guess it took him three hours. This might be done in 1-1/2 hours by someone that already is a put-together-furniture type of person. The picture is true to the item. Good product, Good value, OK instructions.

Looks nice, assembly was so so, the instructions were kind of hard to follow, it's cheaply made, if you're looking for something cheap it's ok, it does look nice and serves the purpose, had a problem with the nails and screws, i cracked the wood putting the drawer together, so be careful.

I've assembled a lot of do-it-yourself furniture over the years, and this is the best engineered I've seen. Everything fits together nicely and each piece was perfect. The drawer included nails to secure the bottom to the back side, rather than just relying on the bottom to remain in the slot on its own. It's obvious that whomever designed this, thought it out very well. It was shipped in a box that was reinforced with extra cardboard on all four corners and then wrapped in heavy plastic. And the knobs are satin nickel, which matched the door hardware in our house.
Also, you can't beat the price. I suppose you could spend a few hundred dollars more and get solid wood and wood drawer bottoms, and not have to assemble it yourself. But for the money, this is excellent. We bought the dresser, chest, and night stand and were pleased with all three.
It remains to be seen how well it will hold up to the occasional abuse of children, but so far, so good.

The Good and The Bad...

Well, the FIRST time I ordered this product, there were parts missing from the box. So I called the manufacturer and a week later I had the missing parts that we needed to put this nightstand together. My husband started putting it together and one of the camlocks wouldn't work. We ended up having to order a whole new nightstand. The second one we ordered came in and was put together just fine. The only issue I have with it is that the drawer track is plastic and therefore, it's not easy to open/close the drawer. I guess you get what you pay for in this case. It looks nice and is functionable...just beware of the issues I listed!

Seems to be very durable and is a good size. The only complaint that I have is, that I purchased two of the night stands and the drawer knob was left out of one of the boxes so we had to go and purchase a knob. Very nice looking stands can be used for guys or girls rooms, I am very satisfied with the purchase. I purchased these for my Son's Room.

This nightstand was very easy to put together, though one of the little plastic clips in the shelf was a real pain to get lined up against the predrilled hole. Otherwise, it has a very nice, clean look. Can't wait to get the bed after this. :)

ok. i really enjoy this product!... the apearance, im sure it does chip easy if scratched lightly or bumped because all furniture made out of this pressed stuff does anyways but mine is fine so far. i think it really does look expensive. i like the drawer to hide personals, but then i can fold a king size blanket and store it the cubby. so it does have alot of room. the drawer is also pretty deep down. the drawer does have a tight slide but ive gotten use to the pull now. it did come with this plastic piece to do something with but i couldnt figure out the directions clearly and i just didnt use it so i dont know if that could solve the problem or not. i doubt it anyways and it works perfectly with out it. the pull is still smooth so its not like its getting stuck. i dont regret choosing it and i dont try to think of something that would work better. i did buy 2 at the same time and they work the same and slide the same and i didnt use the plastic piece on the 2nd one either. building them was easy. im pretty experienced in the building furniture dept. so...took bout an hour each, i had help but you can do it on your own too. not wobly or crooked!!!! because i have built furniture that has come out that way more than once... but anyways thast about it, the only thing i didnt really like was the inside of the drawer bc u see the pieces used to assemble and the bottom is a thin piece of something. its fine now and its not bowing but i do wonder?..... and i have put a bit of stuff in my drawer too...

I bought two of these to go in my 10 & 8 year old daughters' bedroom. I put them both together myself with each of my girls helping me with their nightstand. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes on the first one and about 45 - 50 minutes on the second one. The girls love them!!
