This really is as good as it looks.
When putting it together, I found looking for online videos more helpful than the pamphlet included. Luckily, baby trend has a video readily available on YouTube!

I am a huge fan of Baby Trend so when I got pregnant with my 3rd child (due May 2013) I knew I'd go with their products again. I also ordered the matching carseat in this collection and intend to get the high chair as well. Baby Trend goes above and beyond all expectations in quality and convenience! I got the playard a couple weeks ago and even though my baby isn't due til May I went ahead and put it together to make sure it was good to go before then. I'm glad I did because it did smell a bit like factory, could just be my preggy nose, but I let it air out till yesterday to make sure it didn't stink when the baby comes. Other than that, it went together perfectly...even at 6 months pregnant I had no trouble except snapping the mobil together...had hubby do that :)
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYTHING BY BABY TREND!!!!

I was very excited to receive this playard for the new little guy in my life. The color of the fabric is perfect for a baby boy. It took about thirty minutes for the hubby to put together. We also enjoy the vibration, nature sound and MP 3.

While this is a great starter bassinet/playpen/changing table, it is definitely NOT an easy thing to set up or tear down. There is no way I'll be packing it up and taking it anywhere to set up. It took an hour and I was wore out. For a more permanent piece it is great, but I wouldn't recommend it to any new mother who thinks it would be easy.

Bought this play yard for my daughter and helped her put it together. The directions were a bit confusing but we had it out of package and assembled in half an hour. She has not used it yet but we did not find anything that we felt was questionable. We were both pleased with the product. It is very cute and has everything you need in a play yard!

You wont regret buying this playard!! For me the set-up was easy. No missing parts. the only thing that took me awhile was the buttons, my fingers are little and i have no strength. other than that once they popped into place it stayed in place! If you're having difficulty putting up the sides do not push the center of the bed down first, pop up and lock each side then push the center down. I learned that was the easiest way with previous playards! I needed a bed for my daughter i didn't have a baby shower because she was born 3 months early and she was being discharged soon! She stays in my room so i didn't want to deal with a crib and a separate changing table (takes up too much room). The design is unisex. In the picture it might look more boyish but when you see it in person it can definitely favor either gender. The material is nice easy to wipe. If you do get a stain on the changer you can remove it you just have to unlock both sides and slide the pad off also it really big so it will definitely be useful as she grows older and you don't have to worry about the baby rolling to one side! I especially loved how the diaper caddy is on the front you can have it on either side and the less bulky on the left and right side the better. It holds a good amount of diapers. i put butt cream and that stuff on the right compartment and her syringe and burp clothe on the other. I have not used the music box thing it looks handy. I actually have my play pin set up the opposite than it shows in the display so the music box doesn't actually clash with the changing table you cant see it in the pictures because i covered it with the canopy on the bottom left corner. The canopy seems a little flimsy (-1 star for durability) but it stays in place and i really love how it shades her from the light if i need to switch on my bright ceiling fan light! The bassinet isn't as deep as i would like it to be, she wont be able to use it once she starts sitting up because i wouldn't want her to pull herself out. No worries though just remove the bassinet as she gets bigger. Over all this is a really wonderful stationary playpin. Not one to go traveling with constantly because of the extra nic nacs.

I just want to thank you for all your help with this item. I was sos pleased with the fast help and re shippment of the lost item. The baby is going to love it as much as the parents do. And you all made this first time Grandma so very happy. It's so hard when your family is in one State and your in another and you have to shop on line and send the items out to them. But it's good knowing that there are people out there that help when something bad happens. We will be doing business with Walmart on line agiain in the next few weeks. Thank you Walmart. Marie

Recently bought this item to be used in our bedroom to keep the baby near me at night. Assembly was fairly easy and all the parts are included, some part of the instruction wasn't as clear but nothing to fret about. I have yet to use this item since the baby hasn't arrived & I was waiting to review this until later but went ahead. For the price that I paid for it, I think it's great. I've seen other deluxe playard from other brands that cost so much but has little features that comes with it. When I decided to purchase this, I only had couple of reasons, 1) to keep the baby nearby / in the same room at nighttime & 2) to only use it for a 3-4 months. It was cheap and the materials seems to accommodate the price I paid for it. The only problem I can think of is the mattress pad. It's too hard and there's barely any softness to it. To be used as a bassinet for newborns, looks like I have to purchase a separate playard mattress, which probably cost around $45 & above. That's why I gave it a 4 STAR on the OVERALL RATING. I'd recommend this for mothers/parents who are not looking into spending / on a budget so much on a playard. I bought a crib & did not intend to get a playard but I decided to get this deluxe playard since I might end up using it longer than what I expect it for. Also good for beginner / new parents to have.

I spent a great deal of time looking for a playard that fit exactly what we wanted. The first one that I owned was bought for us by my sister for my first child. It also was a Baby Trend brand so it was easy for me to return to this brand for a new product for my now newborn baby ^_^. We. Love. It!! We purchased it when I was about 38 weeks pregnant. I put it together by myself (didn't even use the instructions because I knew how it was put together because of the first one I owned) and it was complete in about 20-30 minutes. We use this EVERY day. The changing table is one of my favorite features. The playard is set up in my living room and makes it so that I don't have to run back to the girls' room to use the changing table in there every time baby needs a diaper. The side hanging diaper holder with the 2 holding trays makes it easy to get to things you need for changing baby. I simply love it. The design on it is cute enough to be girly but not so much that I would feel guilty putting a little boy in there. :) Gender neutrality for the win! Also the color and design match the Enfamil gifts we got from the hospital lol. Love the music center and pretty much everything else about this. Received it in one week from ordering.

We've had this playard for about a month now and although we haven't got to use it yet because my son isn't here yet (due October 28th) it is a wonderful playard. I basically put it together myself at 6 months pregnant, it took less than 30 minutes to assemble and the features are great. 2 of my favorite features is how the changing table flips out of the way and I love the night light feature I believe it's going to come in handy when my baby is born. All in all I give this playard 5 stars so far and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a playard with all the extras and easy to assemble!

Its very nice and pretty, has lots of features like changing table, diaper storage, music, light, mobile, bassinet but for some reason my baby wont sleep in the bassinet..she likes the fischer price snugabunny sleeper/rocker and she sleeps there only. Currently she is 6 weeks and the maximum weight limit for the bassinet is 15 lbs and for the sleeper/rocker it is 25 lbs, i think we wont use the bassinet.
