The Carex Compact Shower Stool is ideal for narrow tubs and showers where a regular chair won't fit. It is great for use in boats, trailer homes, or RVs. This bathroom shower stool comes with a rust proof frame that provides years of dependable use. The 13" wide seat adjusts in height to provide a perfect customer fit and offers convenient seating space. It also features legs with slip-resistant rubber tips to grip the tub floor, thus providing a stable base. This compact shower stool can be assembled in minutes without any need for tools.
We had gotten a bigger stool but my husband wanted more room to be able to move around in the small shower area. This works great!

Review 2 for Carex Compact Shower Stool, B600TF
Perfect. Only wish I had bought it sooner.

After foot surgery, I had a tough time getting into/out of the tub, AND staying off that foot completely during showers. I had to be seated, but our tub was sloped at the base of its walls, which rendered another 3-legged shower seat I had quite dangerous. I soon got fed-up with sitting half in/out of the tub to shower, which was the only way that three-legged one could be used safely. I found myself hating showers due to that seating arrangement, and ordered this one (I DO think it's over-priced, considering the materials). Its slim footprint and four-legged design fits securely in our slender tub base. It doesn't move around at all with my weight (160#) on it, and I'm using a sturdy non-slip tub mat with suction cups (not sold through Walmart) to ensure the chair feet don't rock or slip. I've got that 3-legged chair outside the tub for when I'm finished showering. Fabulous!

This stool is perfect for my needs. It is small enough to not take up too much real estate in the shower/bathtub. It is also very sturdy and easy to assemble. No tools needed for assembly.

I bought this shower stool some months ago and I really like it. It's a nice compact size so it fits easily in my shower, but it's not too small. The price was good, too, only $30. I would highly recommend it.

The compact aspect was why I selected this stool. My tub curves in at the bottom and has limited flat space. This stool fits perfectly. The compact aspect is not a drawback. I'm not a small person but the stool is perfect for me. It has a 250 lb capacity. The only complaint I have is with the assembly instructions. There's three pictures on the side of the box that leave out what to me were pertinent details. I emailed the company and received more adequate instructions promptly. I like that it is put together with hand screws. Truly no tools required.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy. More econimical then if purchased from a medical supply store. My only concern is that the legs of the stool may hold water which in time may mold. Other then that I am happy with my purchase. After I bathe and the stool is fairly dry, I put the stool outside of the bathtub to air dry.

This stool is excellent for smaller areas or where large stool not desired. Very sturdy and well made. Good height adjustment. Perfect for any shower or tub. Easily assembled in minutes! You can't go wrong with this stool in my opinion.

I bought this stool for projects or things that need to be done on or near floor level. Since suffering a knee injury several months ago, it's much easier to sit on this stool than to sit on the floor to do crafts, or other projects. I think of new ways to use it around the house almost every week. The only negative comment I have is that the screws or bolts don't stay tight. They need to be tightened about once a week, but all in all, this small stool is an excellent value for the money.

The shower stool is exactly as described...a little taller than I wanted but does the job. Needed something to help shave legs in a stand-up shower. Fast shipment.

This is the design that should have been all the time . The older wide (or long) may have been good in a shower stall but not a tub . This stool fits the tub just right . The value is ok if your retirement is sufficient , otherwise $20.00 , to my thinking . I am happy with my purchase . I am 84 and used the old seat until it broke because it was not designed for the tub .

I bought this for my elderly mother as she needed something to sit down on while showering, but her bath tub is an odd oval shape and wouldn't accommodate a normal shower bench. This worked perfect!

I love it. It can sit in the back of the tub, and my husband does not have to remove it to take his shower. The others I have seen were just a little too large. (I am not a small person, and it more than big enough for me).

I am a person of disability. Before I purchased this stool, shower time was a daunting task. I had to carefully lower myself, and shower sitting on the floor. Needless to say, I did not bathe as often as I should, because it was very difficult.
This stool makes transferring, and showering a breeze. It fits perfectly in my small shower cabinet I would recommend it for anyone, disabled or abled.

We recently had to remodel my mother's bathroom and put a shower in for her instead of a bathtub for her safety. This little stool is absolutely perfect for her, as it does not take up much room in her shower and it is easy for her to open the door and get in and out. It is very solid and provides her with a feeling of security while she showers. It has given her the ability to take a shower on her own now - and she loves it.

I have an old fashioned tub, Carex is one of the few brands that'll fit. Did research, price varies from $30 to $65. Walmart had the $30 plus 97 cent shipping. Item arrived with in a couple of days, went together in less than 5 minutes, height adjustment is quick & easy.
Chair felt totally secure, less than 2 weeks after TKR, could shower without assistance. (had to wait for staple removal). Great item
