It has a great sound and we love the wireless subwoofer that allows you to place it anywhere in the room and connect the rear speakers to it via wire. We purchased it to use with a Vizio 3D TV and it is perfect.

Great sound. You need to use an optical audio cable for excellent sound ( the white and red audio cables will not do it). Make sure you read the instructions on hitting the Optical button on the remote and what lights needs to be lit for the best sound. The wireless rear speakers are great. They plug into the subwoofer and the subwoofer plugs into the wall. This is great for those of us who did not put a surround sound in their home when it was built or do not wish to permanently install one. For sound quality, performance, convience of the wireless rear speakers and price I gave this 5 stars.

I purchased for my master bedroom which is about 450 square feet to work with my samsung 40 tv, and i am so impressed and pleased with this product. It sounds great and easy to use. I have this product for over a month and the lights still work on them. It really is great because I can shut off the subs when I am just watching tv and dont want so much of a theater affect, but when I am watching a movie, wow the system sounds great especially for the price. I am actually thinking about replacing the samsung system i have in my family room with another Vizio surround system.

My husband just had to have this surround sound system. Unfortunately, we both misread the description. We were thinking that we were getting a totally wireless system and it is actually only the subwoofer that is wireless and the back speakers attach to it. We're learning how to use it and so far it sounds great! Good product so far. I'd recommend getting it.

First the bad which is very little. Most upper scale sound bars come with an iPhone dock. Not this one. The remote is adequate. I am replacing my 1200 dollar Sony dream system and was worried this system would not cut it. It smashed the Sony in every way. I added a vizio blue ray player and it is all amazing. I am running it off my tv using an optical cord and it's simply amazing. I have been told to run it off the blu ray but can't imagine it getting any better. Good bye to Sony for life!

I bought this product for my living room TV. It was super simeple to mount and plug-in. As long as you READ the directions and you dont have a leraning disability, you dhould be fine putting this together. The sound is great, even with out the optical cable. My two year old says "its LOUD mommy". Plus when I have it on I can't hear my loud neighboors upstairs so thats another plus. I would reccomend this system to anyone that was looking for a soundbar system.

Great product but lacking multiple inputs.

Enjoyed the great sound but have multiple devices: CD player, Phono, and the wireless headphone iPod doc. When I had hooked the TV into the optical input that left me with just the RCA analog jacks ran out of inputs for my devices so I had to purchase a switch box to hook up the CD player iPod doc and phono and that solved the problem. It works well now. Not concerned with volume lights going out after adjustment. They work every time you adjust the volume.

We bought this for my dad, cause his current Vizio TV didn't sound very clear or loud. It's good for what he wanted it for. I have a Bose system at my home, so the "surround" isn't as high of quality. But for my dad, it's a perfect product for what he needed. I bought my sister the Vizio sound bar, but this system brings the bass to music and movies. Sound bar alone didn't have that "thump" that I like. Overall.........excellent and would recommend it.

I was somewhat concerned based on problems others had during installation. The instructions could be a bit more extensive in terms of speaker placement, optical cable needed, and troubleshooting but was able to figure it out based on previous reviews. The sound is much better than my HDTV provided even without an optical cable. Very satisified after 2 days.

Overall, great value for the money, easy to install and sounds great. One problem was a low humming sound coming from the sound bar as soon as the AC Adapter was plugged into the wall.
Different sockets in a differnet house made no difference. I plugged it into a multiple electrical outlet that would turn off when the receiver is off.
