Was looking for a 46-47" TV for awhile.. Heard that after the Tsunami in Japan the prices would skyrocket. So, did some more research and found one at Walmart... Saved $311 off of list ($999) and couldn't be happier. Picture and sound are excellent. Actually bought a Vizio 47" the day before and when I found one last LG in driving range so I exchanged and never looked back... Picked up a Sony Blueray for $98 at same time... A great deal brothers and sisters!! Get one soon!

After looking at several brands, comparing quality, price and Name, we decided on the LG 47LD450 as the television to bring home. Set-up was simple and with very few adjustments needed for a great picture, it was mere minutes from the box to the first movie we watched. I did purchase the extended warranty though I am doubtful as to ever needing to use it. We are very happy with this TV.

This a great buy in the 47" size range! Do not listen to the 120\240 Mhz hype - most folks will not be able to tell the difference. We have a 37' Vizio and now this 47" and they both have a fantastic picture. Buy a Sony RM-VM620 universal remote for $25 and you will never look back! Walmart also stocks the LG BD550 blu-ray player for $98 which compliments this LCD very nicely.

connecting the t.v was a little annoying,since we had no idea you need a certain hdmi connector first. we have that and now we found out we can't program the t.v. remote to the cable box.you can if you don't have cable.we like to use both remotes. the t.v. collects a lot of dust and and all though the picture looks great..still not sure if it's worth it...

I just bought this TV a few days ago. It replaced my 32" i had in my living room. I could not be any more happier. This is a great product at a very good price. There's really nothing wrong with this product that I have noticed. Again if you are considering getting a tv I would get this! Also watching blu-ray and playing PS3 on this looks amazing!

I sit amazed at the picture and sound quality of this TV. I have been looking at different brand of TV's for months I was set on buying the 47'' 120hz Vizio until I went in a store and saw the LG and Vizio side by side,I knew right then I was buying the LG. Set up was SOOO easy, took about 10 minutes. One note IF you don't use the TV base and have a TV stand that the TV mounts to you MIGHT have to go to a hardware store and buy some bolts to use , they are METRIC, I like to have never figured that out.
I picked a store that I could buy online and use the "pick up today" option. By buying the TV online and using the "pick up today" option I saved $49.00 off the already LOW price. The service was great! I ordered the TV at 8:00am and by 9:am I was on my way to get my new TV.

I shopped and shopped before buying. I found a LG at Christmas time that I liked but, wanted to wait until January for a better deal. Still was doing my research and came back to the LG. I LOVE the picture quality it's the best. Plus I saved close to $100. buying online and picking up in store, rather than purchasing at store. Oh, and everything was very easy to hook up.

I had been wanting to replace my old TV with a bigger screen TV to better fit the size of my room. When the old TV failed I wanted to replace it fairly quickly. After reading some ratings and reviews, this HD television rated very high. When I found the price to be lower than I had expected, I bought it right away. It has an excellent picture (very sharp in HD), and the sound quality is better than in any other TV I've heard. I did have someone help me set it up, but that process went very quickly and easily. The screen size is perfect for my long room.

We had an unfortunate experience with this TV- After 3 days the sound started breaking up and the picture would get fuzzy then clear- We had a wonderful experience with the WALMART people who spent two hours with us - returning it it and picking out a VISIO 47" LED 120 refresh rate TV that has been flawless- We were worried that it was because we have an antennae hookup and no cable- but that proved to NOT be the problem and our new TV is fabulous- Finally- It may have just been that particular LG since everyone else seems to reccomend the LG- but we didn't want to chance it with another one- Thank you!

Love the HD picture. Excellent buy. One of the better deals out there. Check online price vs store price. On line was $80 cheaper. I had it hooked up without a HD reciever, the picture was ok. Got DISH network to hook up a HD reciever and made a huge difference. The football in HD make its all worth it. The sound is ok, needs a surround sound system to make it perfect. Overall, very happy.

This is a great product. This was my first LCD tv purchase. I had ordered a different tv from walmart.com, but as I was leaving I noticed this LG on a dolly in the warehouse. (It wasn't even on display yet) I returned the one I bought online and bought this one. I had done a good bit of research on tvs before I purchased this one. LG lived up to it's name with this product. Easy to use, great picture and sound quality. Oh, and for the man who was complaining and stated that there were no audio out, you're wrong. There is an Optical Digital Audio Out on the back. The user's manual helps explain how to use it.

For the price and size this is a good TV. But there are no Audio outputs. And only 2 hdmi inputs. It is a great bedroom, gradge, or basement TV, not a good center for your master peice home entertanment center. My last TV was a Samsung 42" top of the line that lasted 2 months after its warenty date. The Lg doesnt compare in picture but it was a 3rd of the price and hopefully it last a little longer.

Most people think what you purchase at Walmart is less quality. Not LG.... This unit went setup extremely quickly and has not done anything but amaze us. Please note when shopping for TV's these things are bigger in your house than at Walmart. The huge stores make them feel smaller. When we got this to my parents house I was glad I didn't get them a larger one. The Timewarner tech was able to setup the HD and its remote to work with the tv. The tv lends itself well with other remotes from the cable company.
Get this TV or any of the LG screens they are awesome!
