The Paula Deen Signature 6-Piece Cookware Soup and stew set is made for easy cooking. The stockpot features a non-stick surface to ensure you do not have to strain yourself scrubbing out the soup pot. One of the highlights of the set is the soft grip handles that allow a firm grip while cooking and serving. The handles are specially designed to make handling the pot extra safe and secure. The Paula Deen Soup And Stew Set includes a 6-qt stockpot and three prep bowls, making it possible for you to dish out stews and soups for the entire family. The bowls in the Paula Deen Cookware set can be stacked up, allowing easy storage. The non-stick soup pot is non-messy and can be cleaned up quickly.
Received my order on March 25 as promised. I inspected as the pieces, washed and stored them until today (April 2). Now I discover that the pot is warped! I can't even make the lid fit, so it is really useless!!!

Review 3 for Paula Deen Signature 6-Piece Cookware Soup and Stew Set
Pleasantly surprised....

I have always cooked with high end cookware, and was looking for a dutch oven sized pot to handle some recipes. My 'bride' saw this one and wanted it because it would match the kitchen decor (all of our cabinet space is full, and this would sit on the stove between use). I agreed...water always takes the easiest route!
I am pleased to say that this pot has functioned just fine, even though it is not as thick as what I am used to.... The non-stick coating has all the appearance of holding up as well as my 'other' cookware, and the handles remained user friendly even after simmering for several hours. The included accessories (mixing bowls and wood spoon) were the real surprise...they didn't appear in the ad picture as anything special, but the spoon was attractive enough to find a place hanging on the wall. The mixing bowls are plastic, but functional and if I can train Laura not to put them into the dishwasher should last a long time.
The only thing that I can caution about is the enclosed warning about using this pot on a glass top stove: the instructions say that you may have an issue if you move this pot over onto a cold burner when the pot is still hot. I have heeded this warning, although I forgot this starting out and nothing adverse happened.
In short: nice sized pot for stews and soups, and a nice non-stick coating. Well designed handles and knob on the glass top. Pleased to recommend to even my best friend....
