I bought this item based on Walmart's description of the product which is totally way off. Walmart has it as a 9 foot paddle, but it is really about 7 feet in length. The product itself is o.k. and makes a good emergency back-up or travel paddle since it can break down into 4 pieces. That is the only reason I decided to keep it.

could somebody post the dimensions disasembled

I really zeroed in in this part of the review: "makes a good emergency back-up or travel paddle since it can break down into 4 pieces." I am looking for something that will fit into the rear storage area of my kayak. Please can somebody post the length of the different sections??
