I wear a 7 1/2 shoe and ordered this slipper in a 8-9 size and I can barely get my foot, with a sock on, into this slipper. In addition, you cannot return to walmart, you have to return to the company, which is out of state and I have't gotten anyone to answer their telephone. In addition, the larger sizes are not available online at Walmart, in any color. You do get two pairs of slippers with one order. The slippers appear well made and look like they would be warm. But a big problem with trying to return them.

These slippers are very nice, the velcro on top can be changed as the swelling in your feet change. You do have to order the next bigger size from your shoe size.

Perfect for swollen feet

I purchased these for my mother after her hip replacement surgery. She was unable to control the swelling in her right leg, ankle & foot. She could not wear any shoes or slippers that she already owned. She was wearing socks around the house while using her walker, and I was getting nervous that she would eventually slip. These slippers solved all of my worry. The adjustable top has allowed her to customize the fit for her swollen foot. As the swelling has gone down, she has been able to make the adjustment for comfort. She says she feels safe wearing these slippers. Although they're not as stylish as she prefers, safety and comfort definitely come first post-surgery!

perfect answer to my search

I also have had hip replacement surgery. I could not wear the slippers that I had. Ordered several pair on line, but the were not wide enough. IT IS VERY hard to find womens slippers in wide width. Now I am ready to have my other hip replaced. I found these just in time.I thank Holbrick for telling us her whole story. She saved me hours of looking for the right product. thanks again.
