The Nine Stars Motion Sensor Trash Can 13.2 Gallon makes waste disposal all the more convenient. With its total capacity of thirteen gallon, this stainless steel kitchen trash can does not need frequent emptying. The trash can itself is easy to clean and maintain, further adding to the convenience. With openings on its sides, the slim recycle bin offers touch resistant opening. The sensor mechanism detects the proximity of hands and enables opening of the lid. The lid of the Nine Stars Motion Sensor Trash Can 13.2 Gallon closes three seconds after the user's hand moves away. Manual opening/closing is also enabled by buttons situated in the front. The trash can provides safety from infectious germs, making it a must-have for every home.

This is an inexpensive and high quality trash can. Other stainless steel cans were twice as expensive and didn't have the no touch lid. Great value, we bought one for trash and one for recycling.

Like I said the sensor was really pain in the neck, you have to wave at certain spot in order to open and no matter how hard me and my wife tried it would take us 5-6 waves of hands to get it to open. Of course there is Open and Close button that you could press but then it's not touchless, is it! Also you need 4 D batteries for the sensor to work.

This trash can had made my life so much easier in the last couple weeks since I made my purchase. I have a finance who didn't use the lid on our previous trash can, which allowed our dog to have free access to the garbage. With the new trash can, my fiance isn't worried about getting his hands dirty every time he throws something away and my dog hasn't been able to get into the trash can. It works exactly as the description says and I couldn't be happier with it. Sometimes I find myself looking at the trash can thinking about how awesome it is.

If I could I would give this 10 stars. My appliances in my kitchen are stainless steel and black and it fits in beautifully. It takes up very little room, you don't see the trash/garbage and you don't have to touch it to throw your garbage in there. It takes a 13 gallon tall kitchen bag and it is filled to capacity before you remove it. Removing the trash from it is simple and quick and replacing the new bag is a breeze. It is one of the very best buys I have ever made.

I had one of these cans, for probably five years, when my spouse decided to wash the top...with the garden hose. Tried to dry out the insides, with a hair dryer, to no avail. Once I regained my composure, I immediately started searching for the best price, for a replacement. Walmart was the ticket. Free shipping, to my home, as well. This can is fantastic. The finish looks great, with my stainless appliances; the slim design let's me slip it in beside my pantry cabinet; and the motion sensor let's me easily dispose of two hands worth of stuff, without having to touch the can, not even with my foot - I hate those step-on cans. It's just one of those items that, once you get used to it, you don't want to be without. Highly recommend this product.

This product is great looking and works really well. The touch less feature is great and hasn't failed me yet. The reason I'm giving the product 4 stars is that it takes four D batteries. It would be more cost efficient if it took AA. However , I still give this product high ratings for looks and performance.

Love this trash can! This is our second touchless trashcan. The first was an iTouchless, which we loved. The lid mechanism broke after a number of years, but we got about 4 years of heavy use out of it. We got this trashcan as a replacement a couple weeks ago and it works great. It is awesome to be able to open the can hands free. You will wonder how you ever lived without a touchless trash can!

So far, I like it better than one I paid $30 more for about 5 years ago. One feature I really like is that the lid won't try to close on you if it takes longer to put something in. The other model would try to close after a few seconds whether you were finished or not which was quite annoying.

Ask me in a year. So far, though, it works perfectly. The dog's tail activates the unit, which totally shakes up the dog! I'm thinking of adding a cat's meow recording to the unit so the dog will REALLY go nuts.
