This air conditioner works great and has a lot of extras. It is quite, has an economy setting, sleep setting and tells you when the filter needs to be cleaned. It also has a remote control. One of the best features is the manual, which walks you through all the steps to make the air conditioner work just the way you want it.

Was not as heavy as I thought it would be. Was very easy to install. Keeps whole house cool. It is a lot cooler in the room that it is installed in, but definitely rids the house of humidity and leaves room temps in other rooms to a comfortable level. I put it on economy and 67 degrees and it is perfect. Not real loud either.

At one point I stopped purchasing from Walmart.com because of shipping issues. It takes forever to get a product. I decided to chance it this time because we are having a pretty drastic heatwave this year. The Frigidaire 10,000 BTU Air-conditioner is fantastic. I have a one level single family home. I have window airconditioners in the bedrooms and the Frigidaire in the living/dining room. I have had to turn my bedroom air-conditioners off in the evenings because it gets to cold and only run one of them during the day. My house is nice but pretty small. I would definately recommend this air conditioner. It is an energy star appliance and it does the job and does it very well.

Love my new Frigidaire FRA106CT1 10,000 BTU AC
with temperature control. Just sit back and relax while watching tv. Once the room gets cool use the remote control to shut off. No more need to get up. Leave the remote near the door so when you enter your house you can switch it back on before settling in. Cools in seconds.

Awesome. Definitely cools a large room, the fan has great speed selections. Set it and forget it. If you want it cooler or warmer just use the remote. Fast Easy and OH SO Breezy. Super AC unit. At night it's so quite, doesn't sound like you just started your lawn mower. Many great features and Energy Star to Boot.

Admittedly, after reading other reviews we were a bit hesitant requesting Home Delivery for this product, but it was worth going for it. The delivery person was congenial and very helpful, and the machine arrived in perfect condition (and during the hottest streak of summer!).
This A/C was very easy to install & the directions are very clear. The sensor/remote is sweet!

This AC unit runs great. Does a very nice job keeping the place cool. The only problem I have with it, is that it's noisy. The lowest fan setting is still very loud. But it does keep my house very cool!

This Frigidaire is a pretty good airconditioner - quiet, efficient and it's actually cooling 3 rooms very well. I'm back to sleeping with covers, and it's 100 degrees outside! Having the remote is a real plus and I like the sleep feature - this brings temp up by 4 degrees over the course of an hour, then maintains the slightly higher temp for 7 hours before returning to original setting. Nice and I don't have to get out of bed to change temp.
Also, the WalMart ship-to-home service was a VERY positive experience. Communication top-notch and picking up air conditioner when it came in - very quickly I might add - was a snap.

The A/C works beautifully, however; the remote control was not in the box. I contacted Frigidaire and due to the newness of this product, they are not making replacement remotes until December 2010.
Frigidaire's customer service associate was very apologetic and put my name on a wait list. I can still use the A/C, however; the remote would be nice to have. I guess I will have to wait until next summer for that.
I ordered this A/C with $.97 shipping cost for home delivery and it was delivered ahead of schedule without any problems.
Flawless transaction.

The remote sensor sounded like a bunch of hype.
I could not have been more wrong. It was a great break-though with window A/C. Hot and cold spots could be dealt with, with ease. Slightly bit louder than old A/C, but I sit right under it and still hear TV just fine

Thanks to their almost universal availability, you can't throw a small stone without hitting a Haier air conditioner in almost any store - including, curiously, our local supermarket. But listen - after having three of them (two of them I'm stuck with) I beg you to order this.
Haier Conditioners blow the same amount of cool air you can, if you whistle with an ice cube in your mouth. Frigidaire knows refrigeration! After returning a Haier unit to the store, I bought this unit and the thing Absolutely exceeds expectations. It would take six of those other units to keep up with this guy.
I know it's hot. But Do Not Buy store inventory. Site-to-store this, and save yourself time, frustration, the returns line, and lots of sweat in your house, room or apartment.

I ordered the Air Conditioner and being 75 years old, had it delivered to my home. It was desperately needed as the temperature was 112 degrees. When it arrived it was dented in several places. Being so hot out I was willing to hook it up anyway, however when I pluged it in it did not work at all. The inconvenience of repacking it and returning it to the store which was 25 miles away made me think twice about purchasing anything else.

I recieved the air conditioner and it works fine, but after i installed it, I realized that the side was dented and the corner was smashed in (obviously ths was done during manufacturing, as it was painted over). I hope this isn't a common occurance.

It arrived fast and had no problems, only I think that Walmart could have put the package in another box to protect the item more, but we got it in great shape. I would recommend this item to any one and I am a picky buyer. I would check the ends of the earth to get the best buy and item for my money..And I don't really buy at Walmart either, but I do now..

I live in the Mid-Atlantic region and we are in the middle of a long heat wave. We have never had an air conditioner in the main portion of our 900 sq ft Cape Cod home, only in our main floor bedroom. This year was just too hot. I ordered this product and had it in 3 days. This 10,000btu air conditioner cools the first floor of our home very nicely. I have had to put socks and sweaters on! This product has pleasantly surprised me in its capability to keep us comfortable. I love the remote and options it offers. (sleep, timer, etc.) It was simple to put in and very light. Good value for the price.
