One touch. That's all it takes to get easy-access to all the advanced features of the PiranhaMAX Series fish finders. Features fish ID+, fish alarms, depth alarms, zoom and more to start putting more fish in your live well.
I wasn't looking for a lot of bells and whistles in a depth/fish finder. Just something to help with daytime Walleye fishing. The depth and how far off the bottom the fish were. After reading the reviews I opted to spend the extra ten dollars for the dual beam PiranhaMAX 160. The Literature did not indicate a temperature readout but it is included. The only problem I have found with this unit is the Fish ID and Fish Alarm settings. It doesn't seem to ID fish unless the Fish Alarm (Ding Ding Ding) is on. Therefore you have to filter out the smaller bait fish to keep the unit from beeping all of the time. When I turn off the Alarm, no fish symbols are displayed. Maybe with more time I can figure this out, but I don't think so. Looks like non-fishermen developed the software for this.

My dad had a Humminbird on our boat when I was a kid so I was trying to find one in my budget for my first boat and this one didn't disappoint. $20 more for the 160 to have the dual beam instead of the single beam 150 was a major plus. Its menu is easy to use and very easy to see in direct sunlight. Installation was not easy, but once done is very secure. Shipping was real quick and I am very satisfied with this product.
