I have had this gun for some time now and love it out of all the guns I own this gun works the best. Some of my friends and I we do what it says not to on the gun and modify them to shoot further and faster and this gun out performs all of them. I can empty the drum in about 9sec with the slam fire mode with no jams. If the air restrictors are taken out you can get roughly an extra 15-20ft more distance.

This gun is great for any nerfer as it has a huge dart capacity along with great range. It fires as fast as you pump and in many cases if your older than 10, That can mean putting out 3 or 4 darts a second and that's great fire power when going up against the Vulcan or stampede. If you are thinking about buying this gun, It is definitely worth the money, But when you have that kind of fire power it may not be fair to the kids that have the recon or deploy or any other gun of that sort. It's a ton of fun though to unload 35 darts on your opponents. The only down side is the drum gets in the way sometimes and is a little clunky. I give it five stars because it is totally awesome otherwise!

I got this gun the very day it came out. As a hard-core dart gun fan, I think the price might be a little on the high side, but its awesomeness makes up for it! Range is a bit weak sometimes, but it doesn't matter at close range when it has got a huge drum and a high rate of fire. You can also use 6-round clips for it, too. The slam fire is actually when you hold down on the trigger and pull the handle back and forth to shoot one dart each time. You almost never have to reload with the drum! Its capacity keeps you in the battle without reloading for a really long time! I got it for the drum, not the gun. The gun isn't all that, it's the drum that got me. You can use it on the Longshot, Recon, Raider, Longstrike, and Deploy. If you use the drum with the Longshot, you dominate in Nerf wars! The other fire mode, single fire, is where it shoots like the Longshot, Recon, etc. Make sure you pull the handle all the way back and all the way forwards for it to shoot properly. If it won't go forwards, don't force it, or it'll eat the dart up. Just pull back the slide and take out the drum and unjam the dart. Then put the drum back in and pull the handle forward and you're ready to shoot! I must say it is an awesome dart gun in Nerf wars!

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson. He loved it because you can load lots of darts in it like a repeating rifle. My 12 year old grandson wants one now. Great fun.

Both of my boys got this for Christmas (ages 3 and 7) and they love it!! Its easy to reload once you get the hang of it, and its a big gun but my 3 yr old can still shoot it. We've had them for about 3 months now and never had any problems with them.
