Got this camera last week and I love it! There are so many different settings. It takes a little while to find out which settings you love and which ones are a little iffy, but I love this camera. Great for the price range. Great for everyday picture taking.

This is the best camera I have ever purchased. This is my first Nixon camera....i've purchashed kodax in the past and this camera blows away my previous cameras. takes crisp vivid pictures.

This camera is sturdy, i had to replace it once, because it fell for the first time and the camera nearly broke in half. In all the camera takes great pictures but many times when i try not to use flash, the pictures come out extremely blurry even though it had vibration reduction, it didn't work! this is what makes me rate it a 4. Also because the pictures don't come out too detailed, it takes bland images that do have clearity, but not breathtakingly amazing. It's not a great camera, but i sure do recomend it

Since we already have several Nikon cameras, we wanted the best for our needs & found the Nikon S6000 digital camera on demo. display at a Walmart supercenter in Palmdale,Ca. It performed exceptionally well & had many more features than the Nikon S3000 point & shoot that we also purchased at Walmart. My wife, Linda will enjoy the S3000, as I am giving it to her as a belated Valentine day present. fearless Fred

This camera is great. I am a bit of a camera fanatic and I have been through a ton of camera's ranging from canon powershot series, nikon coolpix series and I also own a Nikon D40 DSLR camera. Knowing a thing or two about quality I do look for that in a camera.. You cannot always trust a product based on its' name brand.. There are bad Canon's, Nikon's, just about every brand out there has a low-end generic model that is just that.. generic. This camera surprises me on many levels.. The very first photo I took was crisp, clear and sharp and all after that have been the same.. That's not to say this doesnt take bad pictures ocassionally because I would be lying if I said it didn't.. like all cameras you have to figure out what works best for you.. The wait time between taking photos is not that long at all.. I have a canon powershot and it is ridiculous how long the lag time between shutter and the photo actually being done processing is... and I am using the same memory card so I know it is not that... The video on this is also great. I had a flip ultra hd and I returned it because this camera here takes the place of that.. I have both a great camera and camcorder all in one and I am a happy customer I finally think this is a point and shoot that I will be keeping and not returning and that is saying something for me lol.

I bought this camera for my wife to take pictures of our grandchildren who always seem to be moving around, here or there giving us blurry pictures. This Nikon S6000 reduces that blur and it works great. We now get great shots plus the lighting, color and quality of our pictures is top notch. We highly reccomend this model and Walmart online was Great to deal with. I bought this camera on sale and received it in a few days. About a week later Walmart lowered the price by $20. and I emailed customer service about an adjustment on the price. A week or so later I received an email letting me know that I was getting the lower price and they credited my account the 20 bucks. Great job at Christmas time by Walmart! Keep it up and thanks again!

I noticed a lot of teachers taking beautiful closeups of their students. When I tried with my old camera, they couldn't compare. I started to notice most of the teachers had Nikon cameras. Now I can also take great photos.

Great camera for the price

When my SLR camera broke I needed something quick that would take good pictures and video. I received this camera as a gift and it fits the bill! It isn't great if the lighting isn't optimal and you want to get action shots, but if you increase the ISO, then it does pretty well. You have to use the flash though, so you have to keep it on the Auto selection. This camera does let you do continuous shooting, however, the flash will be turned off, so again, lighting needs to be good. Overall, this is a great little camera with really good picture and video quality. I would highly recommend it!

I think this camera was great. It is too bad that FedEx delivered it to my house and threw it in my yard with my 2 boxers. I must admit Walmart was awesome when I took the chewed up boxed and camera. I got my money back. I ordered another camera from Walmart. This time I used the site to store.

This is the perfect point and shoot camera. It takes clear, crisp pictures even in low-lighted areas! I love how compact this camera is; it easily slides into my back pocket. It is my second Nikon (I had my first for over 3 years!), and it does not disappoint. I will never purchase another brand!
