My husband and I recently received this crib and LOVE it. Our little one isn't here yet so it hasn't been tried out but the crib is gorgeous and high quality wood. The espresso finish is beautiful, each individual piece came individually wrapped in the box so they were in perfect condition. The crib was a breeze to setup. It only took my husband about 30 minutes. The only thing that Delta could have done to make it a little better would have been to include wood plugs to cover where the screws go in....but it is so minor and really barley noticeable once completely setup. Definitely worth the 5 stars :) Also, for anyone looking to find a matching changing table, Walmart didn't offer one (at least when I bought mine) so I did my own research. At Sears, I bought the Delta Eclipse changing table in Vintage Espresso finish....it came a day after the crib and we set it up, it matches perfectly!!!

We bought this crib for our first child that we are expecting this November. The finish was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and though I have read many reviews on here about troubles finding a mattress....the BOX as well as Manual shows the EXACT sizes required for the crib so apparently people just can't read. We found a matching mattress within seconds online. For those who don't want to mess around the Sealy - Ortho crib and toddler mattress fits this crib and it is also a great product! Couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase! Easy to set up too!

First I'd like to point out that the color of this crib is NOT espresso. It is espresso cherry. I was nervous after seeing the matching dresser labeled espresso cherry and the crib solely as espresso. I went to the delta website and confirmed that the matching set is indeed espresso cherry. With that being said, the crib definitely had a more reddish hue than what is shown in the pictures. However, since I did my research I was prepared for the cherry finish and it matches the dresser perfectly. I love how it looks.
I thought I'd also point out that the our crib came with toddler rail which I didn't see advertised. Great bonus. We were able to set it up with no problems and very quickly. We can't wait till our little guy arrived and can start using his own crib.

Wow, what a beautiful crib! Once unpacked, it took less than 30 mins to assemble. It's so pretty and matches the dresser perfect. I was very worried about packaging and shipping from the company, but it was packed very well. There was one small scratch on the side, but that was from shipping/transport. Overall, it's wonderful.

I love this crib. After reading the reviews, I was aware the Espresso color may actually be closer to a Cherry, and it is. It almost looks as though some pieces are Espresso, the others Cherry. We decided to put this together and it is beautiful nonetheless. If you are looking for a true Espresso, I would not recommend this crib.

I looked and looked for cribs, I kept coming back to this one, I loved it, but from the reviews thought it may be too red, I ordered anyway with free shipping so I wouldn't be out that money, it is VERY cherry, not just a little, the reviews are correct, if you are looking for darm brown, look somewhere else. Was hoping it would have worked!

My husband just put together the crib for our baby girl. We couldn't be more pleased! The crib is absolutely gorgeous and extremely sturdy! Also, for the price we couldn't have gotten something that looks as nice as this one! We are super happy! Also, I love the color, however, I believe is more of a cherry than an espresso. :)

This crib is beautiful and very sturdy! My only complaint is I ordered espresso and it definitely is a cherry color not espresso. I would highly recomment but be aware of the color

This is a very sturdy and solid crib. Instructions were easy to follow making assembly easy. No extra tools needed....all bolts are hex heds and they supply the allen wrench.

I was please with the quality and price of the Delta cribs when I bought my daughters Delta Venitian convertible crib in natural in October 2010. The color of this Delta Canton convertible crib was not the espresso as stated in the description ( and as noted by other reviewers). It definitely has a red tint to it. If you are looking for a true espresso crib this is not it. Although it is not the color I had wanted for the nursery I decided to keep it anyway. The crib is very easy to assemble. The front of the crib seems very low, lower than the Delta Venetian. I did not drop the mattress all the way down yet so I am not sure how long the new baby will be able to stay in this crib before we have to convert it to toddler. One nice suprise was that the toddler rail conversion was included which I was unaware of.

Just got this crib home and not only is the wood NOT espresso (more a cherry color) but the head piece was cracked! This is the 2nd crib that I have bought from Walmart that has been defective. Not sure whether it is Walmart's or Delta's fault but I will be staying away from both.
