I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. The whole experience was wonderful. I bought it online and did the 'Pick up Today' option. It was great to be able to look at the reviews, order it, and then just walk into the store, pick it up and walk back out so I could go back to work. The product is exactly what he wanted and he had it put together in no time.

The Landspeeder was a gift for my nephew's birthday. Walmart had the best price, so we ordered from the site. It shipped quickly and was at our door in no time.
My nephew specifically requested this gift so he was thrilled with the item. It had all the parts and he's been building and deconstructing and building again almost every day.

My seven year old grandson was thrilled to receive the LEGO Star Wars Luke's Landspeeder for Christmas. He'd had one before but had lost the Luke character. His favorite, of course. I didn't know this in advance of my purchase. I was simply looking for the set with the most characters. It was amazing to watch him snap all those tiny pieces together. LOL. And fun!

My 6 year old grandson loves this set. He opened it and immediately starting building. He didn't need much help which amazed me. I just wish that Lego could have some sale prices once in a while. I have actually gotten better prices at Walmart than Lego itself on a few sets. Thanks. Grandma Pat

Great starter set for your young Skywalker

My 7-year-old has gone Star Wars NUTS this year. It came on quickly, and I (his dad) was never really into Star Wars all that much as a kid... in fact I didn't even see the original 3 movies all the way through until adulthood. I do like the whole series now, but never really talked it up all that much... but the franchise certainly has staying power, and is apparently the talk of the entire 1st Grade class. Hence the new kid obsession here.
He picked up this set with his own money, after receiving early Christmas presents including a few duplicates... that we returned to Walmart for store credit. When I suggested he use the credit to pick out a Lego Star Wars set (which he was already talking about), there was no turning back.
This is a great set, because it includes several main characters and endless imaginative play opportunities. It had some slightly difficult parts (for a younger kid) in the building phase, but my son mostly just wanted to play with the included "Lego guys" while I built the speeder. He has played with this set every single day for the last 3 weeks in some form or another, creating/mimicking his own characters from the included body parts as well as existing Lego people in his collection.
Everything seems expensive these days, and some of the Star Wars sets are astronomical in price (I mean we're talking about Legos here)... but this set was reasonably priced. With an $18 gift card my son had, he gladly kicked in another $8 from his own saved cash to buy this himself. We purchased online and picked up at our local store the next day. It was a good lesson in reasonable spending, and he's definitely gotten his money out of it. This exact set is shown and used in the Lego Star Wars Wii game also (The Complete Saga version) so that made it extra cool as well. Recommended overall!
