I bought this to push my 2-1/2 year old and 2mo old around our neighborhood and for a few trips to the beach this summer. I couldn't justify paying for the double BOB considering I am only going to use it a few times. It is very heavy, but I just leave it in the garage. I've had it for about 1 month now and it handles great on the sand and is very easy to handle on the street. The sunshade is great. I'm very happy with this purchase. I would've rated is 5 stars if it was a few pounds lighter.
This jog stroller is fantastic! It is lightweight and easy to fold, so getting it around is pretty convenient. It was easy to assemble, and if I can do it, anyone can. It steers easily and the rubber grips on the handle are very comfortable. The sun visor is adjustable, so my kids are always cozy in this stroller, and unlike our old stroller, the axle on this one is positioned so that I don't bang my shins on it. What's also nice is that the front wheel can be locked for jogging or can swivel if you want to just stroll with it. Compared to our old jog stroller, this one is so much better in every aspect. The price is unbeatable, and for 97 cents shipping, I received it the day after I ordered it. I run about 5 miles a day, and I am thrilled with this stroller. I wish I had bought this one a long time ago. I highly recommend it!
I bought a used double stroller from a friend of a friend for $100. I wish I had bought this instead. I have since sold that one and only use this one. This stroller is great. I don't use it for jogging. I use it for mall and outside. It is kind of big but it so easy to push, easy to fold and the height is perfect for my husband who is a foot taller than me. The kids seem to enjoy it too. We are taking it the shore for vacation. I hope it does well on the beach and boardwalk. My only complaint is the split storage underneath. One big basket would be better for a diaper bag and purchases while in the mall. Otherwise, I love it!!!
This is really an amazing bargain for the money. I'm sure there are more comfy strollers out there, but for this price line, the quality is excellent. I use this for walking (exercise-walking) with my 2 year old and my infant. It's a very smooth ride and turns on a dime. Much easier to steer than my front-back double stroller. Of course, it's a little wide, (it's a side-by-side people, not a shopping stroller). That being said, I have taken it shopping to the mall and a few other stores. It will fit thru most doors, but obviously, you're going to have issues going thru close-together racks. The other advantage is that it does turn much sharper and more easily than a front-back stroller if you can fit thru the door/aisle width-wise!
It does have a feature to lock to wheel, but as I haven't worked up to jogging/running yet, I can't really comment.
The grip is comfortable and the parent tray is handy. The seats recline and sit upright nicely. It's not the comfiest stroller seat I've ever felt, but my kids are comfy in it and the price point really can't be beat. The shade canopy is nice and covers well. It works well for tall parents - I'm 6' 0" and it's the tallest one I could find in my pre-purchase research.
I bought this stroller as a secondary one while we wait for our things to be shipped to where we are living now. Honestly, I like it better than the Jeep that we've been using. It's extremely easy to turn. It doesn't pack up as flat as the Jeep, but I would rather sacrifice that to have the great turning this does. It's extremely easy to use & fold up. It's really a great stroller.
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I have a long 2 yr old and an average 5 yr old and they both fit in and love this stroller. It is super easy to push with them in it and the wheel does not spin or wobble unless I have only one of them in the stroller; even this it's only if I run and I could lock the wheel if I wanted to. As other reviews mentioned when the seat back is down my 5 yr olds head is in the mesh on the seat back but he still fits. I just needed something that they fit in, their feet would not be dangling and was easy to push and this is it with a great price to boot!
Fantastic stroller! Don't spend a ton on a super snazzy expensive one when this works great! I'm a serious runner and this stroller fits the bill for me. Plenty of cargo space, the locking/swivel front wheel is a must (NEED THE SWIVEL when you have two!). Minor concern with how tall the kids can be when riding in it- my two year old is on the tall end of the scale and the strap won't go much further.... though perhaps he won't need to really be strapped in the next year or so?
Had a minor issue with one of the rear wheels- looked like there was a bulge in the tire (noticed after one week). Called customer service, they said no problem send us a copy of your receipt and we'll send you a replacement tube. Got the tube within a few days, replaced it and took it out for another run. The bulge was worse. Upon closer inspection discovered it was the actual metal tire frame that was bent. Called customer service. No problem, sent out a replacement wheel and got it within a week. No cost to me, super easy customer service and we're good as new.
I did a lot of research online and in stores before purchasing a jogging stroller. I wanted to make sure it'd be something I could get a lot of use from. The most important things for me were comfort for my above average size kids and ease of pushing, especially while running. After a lot of research, I decided this was the best stroller for the price. After receiving it and using it several times, I think it's the best stroller, period! It pushes very easily, while running or walking. When in town, I leave the front wheel unlocked and it swivels very nicely without being too wobbly. When I'm running on a bike path or highway, I lock it and it pushes like a dream. I can easily push onehanded (on fairly flat surfaces). I love the wrist strap because going down hill it can really pull. I like the safety of knowing if I'd let go the kids won't take off without me. The kids seem very comfortable (3.5 & 1) and have plenty of room. Their foot base is definitely the biggest on the market. They have their own cup holders and can sit up or recline. They are fairly close to each other, but don't seem to mind. There is a suprising amount of storage, behind the seats and underneath. Also, two cup holders up top and a handy cubby to throw my keys and phone in. All in all, I'm very impressed and so glad I didn't spend the extra money to get a "brand name" stroller that wouldn't have been any nicer.
We love it, its' perfect for my children. My son is one and my daughter is two. Once we put them in the stroller they both fall asleep instantly. The seats are adjustable individually and comfortable. It fold and opens so easily in one move. Th most important aspect I love is the canopy moves forward it detaches from the stroller so your children are always protected from sun.
We were to travel from California to Disneyworld with a 5 year-old and 22 month old. We did not have a double stroller option for our vacation and did not want to lug two strollers with us. Disney rental strollers go for about $30 a day so I came up with the idea of purchasing this stroller prior to our trip and then having site-to-store pick-up in Orlando. It worked great! We picked it up and it was a cinch to put together (in our hotel parking lot with just a wrench and screwdriver). We bought a mini-tire pump and away we went. It is very well-priced. It is sturdy. Turns on a dime. It fits both our children very comfortably and has lots of storage. It folds up and since we liked it so much we brought it back home with us on the plane. The airline did not charge us for storage even though it was too big for gate check and had to go with regular luggage check. My only complaint is that even when folded it is a bit bulky and awkward to carry but every other aspect is great. For the money, I would highly recommend this stroller!
We've had this stroller for over a year, and are extremely happy with the purchase.
Pros: Besides the obvious benefit of the best price around, the sun visor is excellent, the seats recline easily and my children are able to nap in there. When the seats are upright, my children can easily see the scenery as we walk. The seat belts hold them in securely, seem comfortable, and adjust easily. The stroller is very easy to push, and even with my two boys weighing a combined 52 pounds, it is still nearly effortless to push. Even going up and down curbs is not too bad. It folds up enough to fit in the trunk of my Oldsmobile Alero (about the size of a Honda Civic, not a big car by any stretch of the imagination). The bottom basket is sturdy, and I've shlepped a considerable amount of groceries home from the store in it. The cup holder works nicely, though if the sippy cup or bottle is thin, it will bounce around. I also appreciate the storage space for keys, cell phone, sunglasses, snacks, etc.
Cons: When I have only one child in the stroller, or when my children weighed much less, I found that the front wheel would wobble if I walked too quickly. That was annoying. I honestly haven't noticed it in at least six months, so I think it must be related to the amount of weight in the stroller. Also, the stroller is too wide to fit through every doorway. It does fit through *most* doorways, but I have had to, on occasion, pop one of the wheels off to fit the stroller through the doorway of a store. Although it's pretty easy to pop the wheel off and and, with 50 pounds of kid in the stroller, it's not something I relish doing.
In any case, I highly recommend this stroller. It really does everything (and a little more, from what I've compared to my friends' double strollers) that the more expensive brands do, and it's such a great price. I recommend this stroller to everyone I know. We've been very happy with it.
This is very easy to assemble, took 5-10 minutes with a 2 year old "helping"! I have a little Chevy Cobalt and this fits perfectly in the trunk when we go places. All we do is take the two back wheels off (which is really easy) and then put them back on when we arrive. It's very lightweight and has just enough holders in the parent tray for our stuff. We use it for our 2 year old and 4 month old and it's been very great! We take it shopping at the mall also and fits just perfectly through the doorways and isles! I love it! Very happy we decided to purchase this one!
This stroller is just what we needed! It is light weight and very easy to use and maneuver! Only issue is sometimes too wide to fit through some doors! Fits easy into our trunk and the kids love it, we have a 8 month and 4 year old!
This stroller is awesome!! I've used it on dirt, and pavement, it pushes so easy. I have a 4 1/2 yr old and a 2 yr old and they both fit comfortably in there seats. No squishyness here. Recline's and sit's up very easy. The front swivel is great!! Make's turning so simple. Locking the wheel is easy too...just push the button up or down to lock and unlock. I have taken up running and this stroller hasn't failed me yet. Looks good, affordable, and practical. My only complaint is the snack tray on the handle doesn't stay attached when folded... and there is no tray for kids to put juice or snacks on. Other then that it works perfect. I can't remember if anyone has complained about the stroller shaking when running or walking fast, but if you lock the wheel it goes very smooth. ( I read alot of reviews from many web sites so i'm not sure if it was on here or not ) Walmart had the best price on stroller and shipping!!! I got it in 2 days.
I am absolutely happy with this purchase. The stroller is sturdy, a breeze to push, and maneuvers great even with one hand. It fits easily through most doorways, and it actually fits nicely in the trunk of my sedan. (a little bulky but you have to expect that for a double stroller jogger). Overall, this stroller is a great value for the price although I would have given this stroller 5 stars if it had a longer extending canopy, a manual brake lever and an optional snack tray.
I purchased this stroller in the Skylar color combo and absolutely love, love, love it. Any mom of two must have a double stroller, but the sit and stands just don't have the weight requirements that most of us need as our kids get bigger. The biggest benefits of a jogger is that they remain very maneuverable even as the little ones get bigger AND you can actually use them to stay fit. This jogger is a dream and YES, it does fit through a regular door, including my front door. If you are in the market for an affordable yet well made and easy-to-use jogger, snatch this one up. It's well worth every penny. I don't have any problems with the front wheel wobbling- follow the instructions very carefully during its installation because if not put in correctly, it WILL wobble. I must advise- don't waste your money on a jogger with a stationary front wheel. Those absolutely cannot be turned around corners of any kind. The swivel wheel makes the deal for me.
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE MY NEW JOGGER,,,KIDS LOVE IT TOO...MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER FOR ME NO MATTER WHERE I GO...FOR THE MONEY YOU CANT BEAT IT...EVERYWHERE I GO PEOPLE JUST CANT STOP LOOKING AT IT...HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR PARENTS WHO LOVE TO BE OUT AND ABOUT WITH KIDS AND HAVE FUN DOING IT...ITS SO EASY TO PUSH AND MOVE AROUND IT MAKES YOU WANT TO JOG...
